I was feeling sentimental, and I thought to put it all into a small, simple video. I hope you enjoy it.

May we meet again for the best Starlight Celebration ever next year in A Realm Reborn, and for many years to come. :o

Aw, I believe they'll make them untradable with ARR... there were a lot still for sale before the last save :(

Me too actually. A month before final save I pulled out all the materials I had left (enough for about 10 sets) and crafted them up. Made like 3 million just like that :D

When i hear the FFXIV Starlight Calebaration theme i want to cry ;( Thank you for making this video its wery nice. :) U made me very happy.

Man I love the starlight celebration music. Probably my best memory from 1.0 was logging in that night as it started with the snow falling and everyone on the server throwing snowballs at eachother

I wish Dalamud never was Dalamud lol

Absolutely true. It's the best Christmas music I ever heard in a MMO. I seriously hope they don't replace it in ARR.

lol i missed the only starlight celebration FF14 has had ;_; but i hope next year they make up for not having one this year :D(i'm confident they will tho)

To Yoshi-P - If you keep nothing else from Ver 1.0 please keep the Starlight celebration as is. For me the animation and the music < especially the music> captured the spirit and the atmosphere of the holidays like no other MMO has before this and I doubt afterwords.

Have just finished watching the video for the 5th time. I do not think it could have been done better. The author reflected our thought and hope for the season and the future perfectly.

Yeah, I had a tone of mats for a whole year, but in 2011 christmas season, I NPCed all the mats i had. I had 5 set that i crafted and sold 3 of the 5. I'm stuck with 2 sets. One for my charcter and one I wanted to sell. I should had passed the other set to my mule. Wasn't thinking at the time. So I made 1.5 million on the 3 sets i did sell.

Hehe, I forgot about the reduction.

I had all of the suit but the hat. :( but I got my Miqote in a Reindeer suit. It looks silly. but good for a laugh.

Especially when I saw a Rogedyn running around in one! ROFL!
