Is anyone else just staring at their email for the day?
I am......!
Staring at eMail, refreshing twitter, Lodestone, and spamming friends with "omg did you get in!?"
And I'm supposed to be writing. ><;
As I said in other thread, we ca filter all those who don't complain about not getting an email, to know who got one.
I think if I had been invited the email would have already arrived =(.
Never loose hope Dannythm. If we lost hope that easily I think XIV would not have survived as long as it did :D
we wait for next round then. ^^
I suppose I should go into the rest of my lectures so! Oh well Round 3/4/5/.. I don't know what round we are on lol
I think everyone is in the same boat. Well maybe not the 1.0 beta boat but the hopeful/nervous when they announce the invites being sent.
Playing league, refreshing my emails inbetween games. You know me Shane ;)
I think they would like people that quit the game early on, but signed up for alpha test this time to get a chance to see how they changed it in order to get more subscribers on release.
I'm playing video games and resuming normal life (which at the moment means sleep)!
Maybe the next wave of invites will look better, but I wouldn't expect them for another day or so. I wouldn't get your panties in a bunch over not getting in. It's just Alpha.
This. Remember that quiz you took to sign up for alpha? The one that asked you how much you played?Quote:

They're probably trying to get as wide a scope of the players as possible. Not just different ethnicities, but different time zones, player types, SE fans, Non-SE fans, etc etc. I would expect that those that got in first are a diverse bunch who lucked out on the RNG.
I'm gonna sacrifice lambs.
the invites for first round have already been sent. Did not get in, but that's for the best I am to busy anyways.
I find it funny how people in this thread are calm but in the other one people are raging left and right... lol
C'est la vie. http://img854.imageshack.us/img854/5111/flowerv.png
Civility is rare on these forums. Glad to see it every now and then. Thanks for keeping the tone folks :D
I waited for my email by putting up a Christmas tree and taking part in some holiday festivities :P Now to go to work while I keep waiting.
by talking to a friend of facebook and worrying if we going to get it or not :( we ended up not getting anything better luck next time i guess.
Hmm it seems they lost the emails for everyone in Seraphim. .. for shame SE for shame.....
I have notifications on my phone if I get an email, so I don't see the point in refreshing the page over and over.
Also, this is an alpha test. Alpha tests aren't for fun, they're work. I seriously hope all the people here spamming refresh remember this.
I'm staring at the wall.
Listening to music and trying to do some homework.
It ain't working.
Wow necro bump or what!
I just check it when I wake up, when I eat lunch, before I eat dinner, and before I go to bed same as with regular email checks
When my iphone makes a noise to alert me I have a new email in my inbox. Even then, I'm too lazy to check it xD
So this thread has been brought from the dead and the question is to be applied to beta? x) ... sounds good to me, hmm I work and chill at my pc so I check the forums and my emails tonnes of times through the day/night.
Once in the morning and once before bed. No more no less.
actually it's enough to be here in the forums.
you couldn't even open the email before there are 3 threads like
"OMG I'M IN!1" "BETA IVITES!" "YAY CHECK YOUR INBOX"
I got in! To another games beta... Can you guess which?
Why don't you just wait until Yoshi comes back from his trip? Beta won't start before then. So it doesn't really matter if you get the mail today, tomorrow, or next week. So just stop stressing yourself needlessly :) It's really just enough to check once/day at this point.
