Hi all...
I saw something that's making me think alot about the opening when the airship fell after that "dragon" hugged it..
when the "hero" fell he saw Ifrit, Titan and many other primals .... my questions are:
1- Where did they come from? airship?
2- How many primals are total?

1) depending the latest posts in lore, Primals come in the world after the death of midgarsorm (the big dragon) because with is death a certain seal is broken and the primals are free to pass in this world

As for how many Primals there are, so far we only know of Ifrit, Garuda, Titan, Leviathan, Shiva, Odin and Bahamut.Quote:

After helping a party (Lalafell female, Roegadyn male, Elezen female) finish their levequest objectives (slaying the morbol), an imperial juggernaut appears before they can access the aetherial node and collect their reward. The Midlander accidentally gets tossed onto the back of one of these machines, and gets carried up into the sky, where he witnesses the Garleans fight with the dragon Midgardsormr in the Battle of Silvertear Skies. Though the great dragon is able to destroy the Garlean flagship, he perishes in the process, and the seal which he protected (guarding the concentration of aether beneath Silvertear Lake) is broken, allowing the beast tribes access to this energy, which they use to freely summon their primals (as taught to them by the mysterious paragons). The Garleans, having lost their flagship and sensing the presence of something more powerful than their remaining forces can handle, retreat back to Ala Mhigo. Meanwhile, with the fall of the Keeper of the Lake, the aetherial balance in the area gets thrown out of whack, transforming the once lush area into a crystalline wasteland—Silvertear Falls now dried up.

Forgot about Ramuh, but Shiva being there would make sense as it would complete the six major elements. Ifrit, Garuda, Titan and Leviathan I believe are supposed to be in at the game's launch while the other two we don't know yet.

Hey Yukagama! It's dann from asura! =P Anywho if you take a look at the poster in the background of the live letter you'll see a picture of all the known primals, and in the top right under Bahamut is Shiva! Check it out!

Lets not forget that among these "primals", we have others like Fenrir (in which there is concept art in the official realm reborn website), Carbuncle; if you count it as some lesser primal. And Cait-Sith; perhaps another lesser primal ? Some other recurring ones I'd like to see are, "Alexander", "Giant Cactuar", "Siren", heck, even "Diabolos" would be pretty bad ass to see :)

Nah it's like an optical illusion with that beak like wind protrusion jutting out from behind her face.
Squint at it and you can see a bird.

and also... siren does not really belong to any element (to the main elements)... so its going to be shiva with some icey stuff on her head?
but im wondering why we havent seen an artwork of her yet... we saw the artwork of odin.. siren.. typhoon.. levi, ramuh, titan... fenrir.. but why not of shiva?? -

Maybe it's just me, but the alleged "Garuda or Siren" in that poster doesn't look like either. That thing honestly, to me at least, looks like it has a beak. I might just be wrong and looking at it funny, but it looks like a beak to me. The current design of Garuda from 1.x doesn't have a beak, and neither does that concept art of Siren. Unless it's just strangely drawn, I'd say the best bet is that's redesigned Garuda with a beak, from the way I'm looking at it at least.
EDIT: Wow, looking at the Siren concept art, and then looking at the "Shiva" on the poster... it is somewhat similar, but I can't say for sure... there is a likeness between the two, though (the head stuff being feathers instead of ice) -

the "beak" how you call it clearly is transparent and is part of the background.
there you see her small nose, her eyes... and that beak isnt a "beak".. its so transparent that it clearly cant be..
