Did anybody else noticed Shiva?

On the opposite side of Ifrit, during the Video Live, I am pretty sure that is Shiva, it is pretty logical.

I wasn't aware anyone was questioning Shiva's existence on that poster...

The Siren would not wear a crown, but Shiva is a Queen in FF ^_^

Not to mention, you need to think about Eorzean lore/world. Siren is not a God, she has always been a lesser (And usually non elementally aligned) creature.

It would make sense that they would first go through the elements when releasing region based GF/Aeon/Primals/Gods/whatever they are nows

Its shiva. They already explained that a snow-covered area to the north, governed by very large beastkin trying to ally themselves with the empire, worship Shiva. Seeing that Ixali basically run coerthas and black shroud...

Plus, its the only missing elemental aspect of the 6 on that poster. Why WOULDNT it be Shiva?

Its Shiva also they have each primal across from their elemental opposite. Ifrit/Shiva Garuda/Titan Leviathan/Ramuh heck would almost go as far as saying Dark for Odin however I dont think Bahamut is Light he usually is non elemental lol but yeah its Shiva.

Siren is confirmed to be an enemy/boss creature, not a primal, so it's not her.

I would rather it not be Shiva...i want her to be good looking like FFX's :) the one on poster doesn't seem too attractive

Definitely Shiva.

There's no reason for them to leave out the Ice component when making a compilation like that.

Shiva has an icy crown/headress/hair. Siren's design shows wings on her head in addition to her blonde hair.

I actually had this question that bugged me the first time I followed the live video. Is that really garuda? I mean we already have a Garuda and she doesn't resemble a bird at all. Unless the primals are also getting a makeover. I honestly would hate to see our current Garuda design dissapear. Even though she was some psychotic b**** lol. Actually, why didn't anyone touch upon this point anyway???

Are you sure you're looking at it right? I've seen some people say she has a beak in that picture, but she doesn't. That's her arm/wing coming out from behind her face. It's the same design as her current in-game version.

well it could also be siren to me with her faithers up on her head.... that artwork where bahamut is shown on.. is a little bit unclear.

but well i first also thought that'd be shiva.. but im wondering why we havent seen an artwork of her yet.

we have seen an artwork of odin, ifrit, titan, leviathan, ramuh and siren... but not of shiva?... hmm that'd be strange.

Just look at Garuda, she has feathers and a greenish tone. It's a clear contrast to Shiva's blue/white color palette and ice texture. It isn't Siren's yellow feathers...

That AND Bahamut is NOT A PRIMAL. as Yoshi stated in a recent post. Dragons are a beast tribe. So either way Bahamut is not a Primal, furthermore, since Dragons are a Beast Tribe.... Therefor they probably worship a primal just like the others. Something stopped bahamut from killing EVERYONE and EVERYTHING after the trailer ended. so im thinking it was his Primal or something. Maybe odin who knows.

Or Bahamut ravaged everything and went about his business...kind of like how in FFXI and FFIX. Also he's akin to an Elder Primal.

He said Buhamut was a Primal but the Midgardsormr (the dragon that wrapped around the airship was infact not a primal but a powerful dragon. Buhamat is the primal of the Dragons.

When I saw her on the poster, I was sure we were going to see more art of her during the video...

Guess we will have to wait :(

In Eorzean magic, there are no opposites. They aren't really listed as opposite elements in the real world's view of the elements, either. Fire:water, earth:wind, light:dark are the more common opposite elements. They aren't even listed as one side beats the other (unless they change the wheel in 2.0) because of the stupid double triangle elemental wheel we have. If anything, they are set-up in their triangle formation. Top three grouped together (Ifrit, Shiva, Garuda) and bottom three grouped together (Odin, Ramuh, Leviathan.)

While I agree it is Shiva, the evidence you used to get there isn't accurate.

i wonder why shiva should be the only one we havent seen an artwork from yet... we saw an artwork of ramuh, Leviathan, odin, titan, Siren.. Omega Weapon, Tyhpoon, Moogle King..

but where the hell is the artwork of shiva? hm maybe because they want to hold some of the new stuff back.. or because shiva is one of the most popular summons in FF.
