.. for this Masterpiece of CGI.

I am not an emotional Person, but i have to admit i was about to cry when i saw the End-Trailer. And like i saw in different Threads, most people actually cried.. manly, like little girls, such emotional.

When i thought of the end of 1.0, i really expected something epic. I know Square Enix is capable of making awesome Cutscenes and CGI's, but this Trailer was beyond my wildest imaginations. And the reactions on the Forum are showing that i am not alone with that opinion.

During the last 2 Years this Community and of course this Forum had bad and good times. People were fighting over little retarded things, people had really good Discussion i liked to follow, people were pointing out things, people went crazy, people did this and that.. but in the end it looks like the majority of all those people are in the SAME Community, which wants ARR to be the best Game around the Globe.

I keep looking forward to any Information SE gives to use, i am looking forward to play 2.0 with my mates, new and old friends, i am looking forward to be test out the Alpha maybe and Beta to be a Part of the Process, i am looking forward to play this Game even longer... and of course i am looking forward to have fun on the Forum, to fuck around with people, to Troll and what not. :)

Thank all of you who are working their asses off on FFXIV to make it happen, to pull out such an amazing piece of CGI filled with emotions you carried around with you during the development. You can feel how people put their hearts into this and i really appreciate that.

Now back to the forums, so i can f*ck with the people a little. :p

And i dont care how many Threads like this exist allready, everyone and their mom should make one to show FFXIV and the Team behind it a little Respect.

It's really one of the most beautiful and epic video i ever seen. Thank you to have created a such piece of art.

I would like to get in on this, I would like to personally say Thank you to Yoshi-P for taking on what was a train wreak back in 2010/2011, thank you to all the dev team for working so hard on the game for the past 2 years and a thank you to Wada for not pulling the plug 2 years ago and letting Yoshi-P make the game a success, will it happen? Who knows, but you have done your best and earned the respect of the community just for trying to turn the game around when most companies would have just pulled the plug.

I hope ARR is a success, and where possible I will also try to help make it a success whether its alpha and beta testing or just recommending it to friends, every little helps.

Thank you SE, you guys have my full support, if you are capable to bring events like this with a faulty product, I can only dare to imagine what are we going to go through ARR.

Brilliant job.

Throwing in too. I had goosebumps from the start right to the end of that video. Very few things can hit me hard enough to cause me to tear up, but watching Louisoix smile, knowing that he'd saved all of us as his last act... that hit me. In that one smile you successfully conveyed that he hoped and prayed that the Twelve would save us, but all along he knew that it would come to that one spell. He knew all along.

I'm glad I got to experience our world's own history. New players will speak of the past, but we'll have lived it. My last moments were spent with friends and family at Llymlaen's symbol in Limsa, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I won't spend a lot of time re-iterating what everyone else has said, I just want to say thanks for all of your hard work on turning FFXIV into a really enjoyable game.

That trailer was the single most beautiful piece of CGI that I have had the pleasure to view in 25 years of gaming (yes I am old).

Like everyone else, I am eagerly looking forward to 2.0!

Thanks Square-Enix! Thanks for giving us hope for a new adventure. :)

I never thought I would ever get that feeling for FFXIV and I'm sure people who didn't play this game for a long time regret it after this CS.

People that didn't played won't have any idea what's going on and won' get the same feelings as us, they have not developed the bonds with he characters, events and world represented here.

This is for us, this is SE gift to us, the ones who stick with them all the time.

Actually I posted this video on my facebook page when it was released. I have had more comments back that I expected - many from people who don't even play Final Fantasy - commenting how incredible it was.

I tried to be ready for the event this morning, but I was able to get just 2 hours of sleep. I guess it was because of excitement. When I crawled out of bed, turned my PC on and then my LS Leader told me about the server problems.. Well, sudden disappointment came over me. We both tried to take place in the online event but both of us struggled hard because of lags and random serverkicks. Then, around 9 o' clock, this massively awesome trailer popped up! We watched it in awe until the end. Then simply watched it again. I was pretty much moved until the end and for me the most heartbreaking part was to see Louisoix, half-smiling getting absorbed(?) of white light after saving Adventurers. Somehow I wished to be there and really see this myself and of course, I would have tried to help them! I think it is pretty uhm, can't find a proper word... badass? maybe to be able to turn so many players deeply moved in their hearts with more or less just showing a CGI trailer.

Thank you SE for all the great moments I had in this game so far! I wish that I can keep on following this epic adventure, even though I recently struggle with it (and have to wait for conclusion until tomorrow x.x).
I wish you all the best for this game! I am sure you put a lot of strength and ofc your heart in it, even more in the last following months of work until release.

It is an incredible video, but people who hasn't played the game won't see it the same way as us, and won't feel the same.

I like how the second that trailer hit, everyone forgot about how mad they were that last night's event was fail. A movie like this, or a cutscene ingame, was what I wanted all along. They did a great job with it... more than any of us could have possibly anticipated. I mean, I would have never thought it ended like this!

Although I've been following the storyline since the beginning, that video was the first time I got REALLY emotional over the characters... I felt that sense of immersion that you only feel with really good games.

Yea, it was a very emotional end to a game. Seeing Louisoix smile at the end made me lose it. With knowing who he was and what he did for everyone makes it much more meaningful then some random MMO player that only saw this trailer going "Wow! cool CG!"

This was a gift, it was a masterpiece of an end for everyone here on these boards. Its a great thank you thread Nero. I am sure there will be many more. :)

It was a very nice treat for SE to give us this very meaningful end. While im here I gotta say it was a pleasure to play with all of the people I met in Eorzea 1.0!
