This - It'd just be used as an excuse for some poor twat to go around griefing people. If I wanted pvp I'd go play on lineage or swtor etc. But I don't, I play FF.

I'm not against PvP even though I dislike it. But I AM against it for FFXIV 1.0

Limited amount of character display + PvP = Not funny

Imagine walking around with everyone, defending uldah and then you suddenly die by the hands of some invisible man because the game couldn't load him on the screen. Yeah...real fun.

Not a good idea. The GMs actually worked hard to create the end of the world atmosphere, with a very clear theme in mind. Enabling PK goes radically against that theme.

I think he was refering to the fact that the game doesn't have any kind of PvP system.

It wouldn't just be a case of flipping a switch to enable everyone to attack each other, it would be a major new feature to implement.

In other words, not going to happen.

all i could think of if they activate it now it rather weird... but ofcourse not really weird at all.. i mean apocalypse is coming.. dont ppl get panic lol

Although it would make this "End of the World" even more realistic (Chaos > Survival)

Yeah, sorry, but no. I have enough trouble getting around without dying. I don't need assholes coming up and PKing me while I'm trying to enjoy the final events.

I think the point of this event is for people to band together to try to survive, not gank random people. Leave that to the Voidsent.
