Hope everyone is okay. I'm from the east coast and it missed us and hit them. Just praying everyone is okay.

I'm in DE and it missed us as well, but i know lots of NJ and NY got hit hard.
A lot of people in NJ and NY are without power as well as cell service. Before it hit me, I warned my LS that if the cell towers went down, I would literally be without a way to let them know I was okay for days. Of course, they still worried until cell service came back. >_<;; I'm hoping your friend is alright. I'd try not to be too worried, though. It is likely that they simply have no way of contacting you... and it's better than assuming the worst. =/
A lot are still without power, but I'm lucky I heard from a close friend who lives in Hamilton a couple of days ago.
She sent me a message on psn simply saying "omg mass destruction" but she's ok.
Does anybody know if Rokien is okay?
It's likely they simply don't have power.
I'm sure they'll be back to posting their polarizing opinions soon.
Seriously? Wow, what an ass.Quote:

Did it not occur to you that that is why I enjoy their company?
Both want this game to be very good, but when it comes to how, they're on totally separate sides of the spectrum. It's good that we have their viewpoints and it would be a complete shame not only if we where to loose them as posters but also if they're hurt in any way.
Just what sort of person do you think I am?
i really hope they are back soon. Things are not the same without them!
I was wondering about this today also. I have a friend in the Brooklyn area who said he only had a few trees down though so thats good.
I think it's just that it seems to be the "In Thing" to around here to immediately pile on when ever Rokien posts anything, telling him to shut up and stop posting. So, the moment someone says anything in response to either of them, it's taken as a slam... most likely.
Can't say I'm surprised, given how many people around here love to jump on the bandwagon with the rest of the "anti Rokien" herd, and play pile-on every time he posts a new thread - as though they're forced to read them or something.
im in NJ and i just got power back 2 days ago.a friend of mine in the next town over still dont have power and may not get it until next week so it could be awhile before you hear from him.
I live in NY i got off pretty easy compared to everyone else around here.
I live in the east coast also and happen to work for a rather large electric utility company. For about 75% of PA state, there were about 450000 customers out of power. Today at work (yes, im still at work) there are only about 15000 customers left that are out of power. We're trying our hardest. 4500 of us (IT, business, and field workers). I happen to clock in about 85 hours of work this week so far. I didnt even get a chance to log in and see Uldah yet.
I'm from the Atlantic city area and all is getting back to normal here
Keep at it Haomaru!
As for Starkeep and Rokien, I hope they're ok.
I may have a distaste for the way Rokien posts, but I'm not inhuman. Well, not until he's proven to be cute and fluffy.
My home is okay. But by the shore... Seabright. That's where my cousins live. I spent most my childhood summers there. Their beach club is completely leveled. ): when I saw footage of it.. It's just. Depressing. The pier too. All those rides from my childhood are in the water off the coast like a ship wreck. Sad. I'm in Florida for college, completely helpless for my family :/
NJ here and I've got power, unless they were at the shore they were spared a lot of the worst of it.
Good to see you're ok, Duelle.
I lucked out here in PA. Nicole hit the house I'm living in quite hard two years ago and this one was much worse wind wise, but everyone made it through ok. I'm still trying to get in contact with a couple missing friends in NY though.
Things weren't to bad near where I live. still a lot of people lost power. It's mainly due to fallen trees I think. I'm sure those two are just fine. I didn't even realize they lived around NJ lol.
Wow, didn't know people cared about me on here soo much, i'm in MA for my gf and I's anniversary of one year. So no need for you to be worried. Your happy go lucky starlord hasn't croaked yet. So stay safe and I'll be back as soon as possible. Thank you and have a awesome week. Chow!
Glad to hear!!
I only got power back Sunday :o
It's very uplifting to know, that at the end if the day, people know how to put their differences aside and care for one another. God bless the victims of the storm and I hope that everyone from that area recovers expeditiously.
