While you guys were praying, were there others still attacking it?

You need to pray to the monster with at least 40 people we did it this morning to the golem and it dropped from 100% health to 0

Hyperion got Number 128 down yesterday. Started at about 2pm GMT, finished at 7pm GMT. @.@ Was... tiring.

It started out terribly, first no one wanted to pray, so they just kept aimlessly trying to kill it. Then others began to pray but there were still people in disbelief who didn't pray. It even got to a point where alot of people prayed to the mob and prayed to every single stone.

Yeah...we managed to pray to death a golem and a buffalo around 3am..then headed to Limsa for Darnus/Imperials. Looks like everyone is back to poking things to death for 6hrs. :/

Does anyone have any videos or something to show the /pray thingy work please lol. It's driving me crazy I don't know if this is real or if ppl are just thinking its working. I want this to work though, my husband was on earlier and ppl were /praying and nothin happened for hours ; ;

So if someone has something can you post it plz lol

Well, I don't have a video, and that would be really the best think to show it works, but I've a couple screenshot that might sufice? They were taken pretty close together, you can tell by the time remaining for my buffs for example, and that morbol didn't went to zero because we were hitting it, that's for sure... :P

It's not the praying that's killing them, it's the GMs killing them off after a while, the same thing happened before everyone started praying. Correlation =/= Causation.

Well that's way better then just reading what ppl say happened lol. But what I'm wondering is if there is a trick to it. Cause it doesnt seem to work for everyone so I wonder if there is something we aren't doin right or if its suppose to only happen once in a while or you need tons of people.

Ugh, that's why I wish someone would record it happening so we can all see :(

there has to be enough people praying for it to work

have you guys tried paying on the magiteks? we've got like 20 people doing it, but it's not having any effect.

If it wont work i dont know but at my server: Ridill it worked but not everytime its hard to get peoples to do it. Well we killed 2 that Magitek Garlean things. So it work.

ps) Here is all monsters we have killed with /pray:

Golums, Imperials, Magitek. It are more mobs you can kill with /pray i just dont remember name to all mobs :(

without going into too much jargon you could use Windows Movie Maker and make a wmv. There's other options but they'd take a bit of research (such as using Virtual Dub and installing xvid/divx codecs, or using Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere or other progs)
