There are still a couple of blocked off locations spread all over Eorzea, like the ones near Lasthold and Turning Leaf, and some others in Coerthas. Any plans to open them after the final save date?
It would just be cool to explore all these unused places before the servers go down and they're lost forever in their current form, at least until they're revamped in ARR, if they are even going to be implemented there.

They might have removed them since then though so I dunno, still would be cool to explore if they're still there.Quote:

As I have been led to believe, the areas are either incomplete, or contain the assets that were used to piece together Dzemael Darkhold, the Aurum Vale, Cutter's Cry and the Thousand Maws of Toto Rak.

The only thing I know of that's in the data files that we still don't have is a dungeon that has something to do with Titan (or at least, his name is in the name of the place). Maybe someone can find the link, I just remembe reading about someone exploring the DATs or something.Quote:

We don't know which scripts and etc they planned but most of the blocked locations has stuff behind them, just like Castrum had the basic stuff behind it before release, just not all of the bells and whistles. The cave under Blue Fog looks like a more anthill style Cutter's Cry for example.Quote:

The areas in mistbeard cove and copperbell mines are blocked off, but have content. They were used in a Lambs of Dalamud event. I'd like to see them opened as well, but they'd have to remove the barriers there, which may be more effort than it's worth. Maybe if they let us teleport in like before.

There is an island in Coerthas that has no way to reach it but you can clearly see it has terrain and an area big enough for mobs and exploration
