Nice find! I call hacks.
Thanks for sharing :)
Because the clock works on local time, open up the client so the timer is there then just change your windows clock to after 11th to see this.
It links to http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com...eor/index.html
So this means no in game event? That's sad lol. So the count down is for the trailer
The 11th? whats that in SE time? sometime on the 15th?
I can't find my SE time chart from XI days.
New trailer?
inb4 "WAH FOOTAGE WE'VE ALREADY SEEN!"
I hope they put something out that says when the event, if any will take place for all times zones. Just so I Know for sure which days to take off work and such~ I run on EST time sooo yea.
Timezone is not relevant at all, it's a countdown... The amount of time left exactly the same for everyone (if everyone keeps their computer clock correct).
If the game closed at 10am GMT that would be 5am EST. That is the same amount of hours for both of us, and everyone else in the world.
The time is actually just fetched from your computers time.
It'll take place from Nov 1-Nov 11th and will most likely run all day every day within that time frame
It also won't be saving any data from that time frame so there really isn't any point in taking off work to do something that isn't credited in anyway to your account lol
I just want to turn on the TV and see a commercial with a bad ass trailer for 2.0... Forget a link in a forum put that shit on adult swim.
Incase any forgot, 2 hours after it goes down:
Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IV webcast
Also currently the timer stops at 00:00 and nothing happens until you forward your clock further on a few more hours and the trailer link pops up, so the link thing i dont think will show when the timer will hit 0. Its for after.
