Best XIV article I've read on that site period.
Whoa! Now that was a shock. Good article.
Good Article @_@
> u < Heh Pico Man.
I really enjoyed that. And the comments at the bottom appear like it's being well-received, too.
Nice to see positive comments for once. Very nice.
that was cool, good to see
I guess that article kind of makes up for the one they released a couple days ago, although this new article is one-sided also, just in the totally opposite way. Is it too much to ask for them to do a balanced & informative article once in a while?
Anyway, you can also hype it via http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/446/view/hype since they finally added it to their in-development list.
I checked the hype level for FFXIV about a week ago after someone else on here linked me to the site. Was at a low of 1.9, less than 2 points for the hype level. Now that someone has enlightened other members on the website with a very well done article, the hype level is now at a whopping 7.93. ^^
Good job YoshiP and crew! You are all doing such an amazing job!
I think I almost started crying x_x;
Funny how quickly people are praising these guys after we got done tearing them to peices when they reviewed the original games release...
Ya i hope the articles out of these sites continues to be positive! And as for balanced articles go we may have to wait for the game to actually release for that lol. without much to go on you gon only go on hype and possibilities. Im just glad their is a tone of hope in the game. And just the fact that its refered to as a Momentous occasion is pretty cool. It really underlines the fact that no other game has real been able to recover from a failed launch and this one may just do it. FFXIV= Rocky haha
Very good article indeed.
Thank you for the very enjoyable read! I think the author hits on some strong points which have been reasoning in many of us sticking with the game. Final Fantasy XIV's rebirth is a truly historical moment in MMO (if not gaming) history and I cannot wait to see the outcome! :D
You got that right ^^ I cant wait to see how the game turns out. FFXI captured me for close to 7 years and it was a fantastic experience, Im hoping xiv can do the same. I have always been a huge FF fan and I would love for this game to capture me again like xi did. I just cant get in to any other MMOs world, I love the classes/lore/stories that FF often brings to the table.
I thought it was a well-written article. It covered major points of what to look forward to in ARR while still maintaining an objective attitude towards the game. (i.e. not showing a lot of favoritism towards it)
Good article but wish they hadnt used e3 images that are way out of date now, even gamescom images you can notice the ui changes x.x
The writer is correct in every single aspect in this article. Particularly the importance that ARR holds for square-Enix, for the final fantasy franchise, and it's place in the MMO industry. Very nice read, it's refreshing to see a properly written article on a game.
