Confused about account status

Okay I'm confused about what is going on here. I have had a reoccuring payment for the Final Fantasy XIV service for several months now on my Mastercard. I go to my account and instead of it saying my end date is so and so it says my account is to be cancelled and the instructions say I'm to register a payment service but I already have a reoccuring payment service and have had one for a while. What is the deal here? :mad:

Are you able to log into the game? curious if it had to do with the free status that we are all reverted to as of sept 29.

I just checked my account too and it's up as 'to be cancelled'. Pretty Leomike's right -- It's just because of the free subscription we've been given for now, so worry not ^^v

Edit: I am also able to log in with no problems.

Yep I can log into the game. In my account status is says my accounts are scheduled to be cancelled on Nov 11, 2012. There is nothing there about being cancelled on Sept 29th or Sept 30th.

How so? What's misleading about it?

I added the italics part which says if my account is to be cancelled, which mine does, then I won't be able to play but I do have a reoccuring payment setup and have had one for months. Maybe I'm misunderstanding this whole thing...

You are alright^^ -- Your payment status on 29th sept was continuous, this means you'll be able to play during the (now) free period^^

I am pretty sure if everyone checked their Square Enix account page, they would see their options listed as to be cancelled. (If anyone else could do this and give me a heads up so I'm not left wondering, I'd be most grateful ;) )

That only applies if it said that before the September 30th deadline, since it's saying this after September 30th, you are getting free month + FFXIV 1.0 will be done come November 11th (1st if you go by the final Save). So Naturally it will say things like to be cancelled, because.. well it will be till ARR. :P

Edit: Yep mine says "To be cancelled" as well.

XD It's no worries Ajaja! I hope you are feeling better about it now lol^^

Then I screw everything up and say "Mine isnt to be canceled"

and leave a photoshopped image to get everybody in a hissy. :D


But yeah as everyone here is saying - that link you have shown was to get into this free (for some) period. I for example paid RIGHT on the deadline at 29 switch over. So the month isnt free for me lol.

Anyway, you are in the free period obviously as you cant post on the forums unless your account is active, so dont worry.
