Linkshell Options/Features (Ousting Inactive Members)

I would like to suggest more LS options and/or features, such as being able to kick a member even if they are not right in front of you. Honestly, I find it EXTREMELY hard to manage my LS because I have 100 members, and only 30 still play the game. I should be able to kick the members who no longer play this game, and I find that MANY other LS leaders agree with me. I even know of quite a few who have had to create a new shell and break the old one because of this particular issue. It seems an unnecessary hassle.

PLEASE, I beg you, PLEASE give me the option to kick LS members, regardless of if they are standing directly in front of me or not.

OMG Yes! Please fix this! I shouldn't have to track someone across Eorzea just to kick them. Its a huge moderation nightmare and causes a lot of problems. This seems like it would be something very simple to fix.

this, i hate seeing an 3/4 empty Linkshell because most ppl stoped playing and i cant kick them.
Would be nice even to see where the ppl who are online are, like:

Name > Place > class/phy. lv

I would also like to see a last login date or something, would help prune people who don't play anymore. But that might be going too far.

We need a means of outing offline members DESPERATELY at the moment.. Furthermore, we REALLY need a way to transfer leadership of the linkshell to another member.. I'd also REALLY like it if we could promote offline members.. At the moment if I have more than one of my characters in my linkshell, I cannot promote ANY of them at all and neither can anyone else. (Which is really irritating..)

* Option to give promoted LS memeber a "LS Leader" a custom "Title".
* Option to set a "Linkshell Message"! that shows up each time you log in. ( /lsmes )
* Members location area. (not position, but Ul'dah-Gridania..etc.)

I would really like to see the maximum capacity to go up as well as the ability to kick non-active players. Our linkshell has business members that may only log on every week or more. Of course we want members that log on daily as well. 128 members is really not that much when you consider that this game goes on for years. People leave and come back to the game. PLEASE INCREASE CAPACITY as well as management capacity's

When you say 'promote' do you mean (ffxi) sack ability, where they can pearl others? Or does that just change the leader? Right now, I'm in a LS where currently there are only 3 of us left. Our leader seldom plays. As I understand it now, only the LS leader can pearl others. Is that true?

i totaly agree with this. the shell i am in is on its third incarnation due to not being able to oust offline players.

I too would like to oust inactive members. With the 128 member cap, it's extremely difficult to recruit new members due to people who quit taking up all of the space.

I got the pearl for my ls from someone who is not the leader, so I'm gonna say no.

As for the theme of this thread, my ls already had to break and restart because of too many inactive players so I'm all for this!

This is a great idea. I really can't see a reason why the ls leader can't right click a member's name in the member's list and have the option to remove them from the ls. That is all.
