The 100 million gil from leves or mob kills. As an achievement whore, I'm just wondering. :D
With the whole change to the Monetary system, hopefully these get adjusted, too. Cause if they don't, it'd basically be like trying to go for 1 billion gil in leves/monster kills here in 1.0.
Which makes me wonder about the gil from defeating enemies would still remain obtainable only from humanoid mobs. Probably likely to maintain balance. *shrug*
After all, it only takes 1 million humanoid mob kills to get the achievement! :D

the mob did need adjustment, since currently they only drop less than 30 gils (maybe) each

The mobs need to drop more gil, or more mobs need to drop gil. Even getting 1mil from mobs is a ridiculous expectation. You don't end up fighting humanoid mobs...almost ever... And when you do, they drop next to nothing.

Been playing since launch and I have 62,788 gil from killing mobs. Granted I haven't been trying but yeah those achievements are ridiculous.
Even the levequest one is a bit unrealistic, even if you levelled all your jobs purely using levequests you would probably get the 10 mil achievement but you would be nowhere near the 100 mil one. -

I think what Premium Virtue just posted pretty much sums up the issue with those achievements.
Making 100,000,000 gil from levequests today is insane, and making it from killing mobs is no better but at least can PL through it. -

Some of the levequest achivements can be done with reasonable time from level sharing.
For Example:
To earn the Lost in Localization achievement, a player would need a minimum of 3 years and a few months doing local levequests, without ever letting his leve allowances reach 99. The Region d'Etre achievement can also take that time solo, however it can be cut to roughly 5 months if a group of 8 players keep sharing regional levequests. -

I think people blame WoW for a lot of that NAO, but having played WoW its really not NAO.. to get the best gear you still have to grind like a mofo, and since they are updating gear every 6 or so months you are always working for more gear.
