I am curious, aside from the social aspect.
Apparently servers will still be up after Nov 11th (after a short down time)
So probably blowing gil by attempting penta melds.
+20 intelligence (x5) linen gloves of gathering...
Yeeaaaaah
Nothing, that would require logging in.
Keeping contact with friends as long as possible to discuss possible problems we're not aware about yet (servers?) and burning all the gil/materia i have
Log in to count the amount of people that wanted servers to come back up not logging in. Then log back out.
I will do a lot of things in game. In Tactics Ogre, in Dark Souls, in Torchlight, in Disgaea 4....
I won't log in after the 1st since nothing will get saved. I'll probably start on Guild Wars 2.....though Mugen Souls looks like a pretty cool game so I might check that out.
Hide and Seek lalafels with nametags turned off.
i probably won't even log in, but it would be funny for the rich people with the 99999999gils to buy out everything in the wards so it will always be empty since it's not saved from then on. no one will be making anything either so just too funny to picture.
i might play gw2 a little sincei totally stoped cause its' boring game. but most likely i will just open gamefly account for a month or 2 and catch up on offline games and shooters.
Work through my back log, learn to play some Final Fantasy music on piano, focus on passing school, and most importantly:
Not log in.
Very little.
all the stuff that fun people do when progress isn't the motivator.
You know, like parties of 20 or 30 players gang banging high level goobbues outside Limsa and such.
probably taking out some bullymongs.. oh wait wrong game
I'll probably either not login at all, or control parts of the economy with my massive stock of gil. Like how high could I get the price of wind shards or cobalt ore? People will buy at high prices too because their gil will be just as worthless.
Watch the world burn.
Nothing. I wont be touching this version after that point.
Uninstall.
You can't long in after Nov 11 so how could we do anything in game?
I am going to ignore sarcastic comments and explore the world, taking screenshots of things that won't look the same anymore.
I'll practice crafting with an eye to synthing HQ items.
I'll practice single/double/triple melding.
I'll experiment with the class system as opposed to jobs. I still liked the original class idea of customizing your role and feel that this could be explored more.
I'll sort through my ungodly amount of materials and determine how to organize them when 2.0 hits.
I'll casually play the game without feeling any pressure to complete something and take joy in simple exploration of everything that's out there while wondering what 2.0 will bring.
I don't even plan on logging in.
Walking Dead on PS3, BF3 and SC2
Create a post-scarcity economy.
Unless like 100% droprate is turned on and things go wild (which i doubt) i probably will login, npc all ma stuff to be like lol, buy stuff i thought looked cool but was no use to me, then idk, logout.
after the nov 11th guess ill be wasting more money.
