Shit drop rates or not, you shouldn't be expecting some of the best gear from being a casual player. There's loot for casual players, but it certainly isn't Darklight, unless you're incredibly lucky.

I have np having people work very hard for something very special, but this is a very lazy and cheap form of development.
Instead of making the challenge hard in itself, the real difficulty lies in doing the same thing repeatedly with no reward. I just got done going on my forth day of 8hrs+ of AV/CC Speed runs with not a single piece of DL armor for anyone in my party. There is no logical way to defend this idea.

your history says you havent done one speed run in AV or CC Lavelia, looking at thunderz history, he has actually gotten some of the acheievements there. You know you get an achievement on first speedrun in both, right? :P

Just because I havent made it a priority to do so (not an epeener) doesnt mean i havent done a bazaillion speed runs. Anyone from my server knows i organize and lead them damn near every day. However, because its 9am and i got nothing better to do, ill go unlock it for you. Now, ask yourself what is missing in you life that you would go out of your way to remark on someone whom you don't even know? Life. (You can have this)

... are you stupid? yes, its a serious question, but i know the answer already. Go to lodestone, check your profile, then history. It has been there since day one, and if you do something, it is there.

I don't know but if the content is very hard people will whine the same. (See garuda for example). All I can say is that your very unlucky.

they really need to give you alt points/currency in the raids that are not an item make them points like the guild marks, where everyone get the same amount everytime then you can buy stuff from NPC's when you get enough. drop rate im just tired of hours of my day to get ZERO thats a old played out system since MMO's came out, get rid of it SQUARE-ENIX.

any raid/boss fight should give you something for your troubles for winning that will stop people fighting over stuff, stealing, and you would be working for something you can actually earn over time. with drop rates your just rolling dice.

People should be guaranteed things after a reasonable amount of attempts at doing something. Garuda was the right direction for this. Thank god the loot system sounds a lot better in 2.0. Darklight drop rate was just garbage.

You're guaranteed a CHANCE at a 5th chest that may or may not drop a darklight chestpiece.

Just making sure of this for you, each DL piece has certain requirements to be met before you have a chance of getting it from the chests, you are certain that you have met those requirements right?
