Tokyo Game Show

Just wondering what kind of info we will be getting and if Yoshi will still be showing some video footage from PS3.

It is this week - right?

I can let you know I am going on Saturday.

The developers will politely inform us that it's not yet ready to be shown and ask us to wait a little bit longer.

That'd be better for them.. when i look at the "Realm Reborn = downgrade" thread where people complain about alpha animations.

Hopefully some Arcanist/summoner gameplay. That's what am dying to see.

I'll be there Saturday as well. I can't wait.

Hopefully we will see new characters and creation as lets be honest we need better options and haven't seen anything new..and maybe a Female Highlander will appear.

Edit: Oh and rei I would if I could but might be difficult lol. doing photo reporting for a friends business of sorts called Akiba Weekly, look us up on Facebook. I will be reporting on all the things there and photos but I will be getting as much XIV info as I can.

-Same shit they shown at Gamescom and 25th Anniversary and Live Letter
-Maybe PS3 screenshots
-Concept Art
-Maybe, MAYBE the start of JP Alpha the 2nd day.

Not when they are this close to Alpha, and since they are in their hometown, they are more than likely to have more information then they would outside their own country.

That's all I want really, something more than one shotting marmots and plants.

They will show PS3 or PS4 with upgraded memory and then YoshiP and them going to say we knew about the memory upgrade but couldn't say it till Sony announced that information so we're good on FF14 on PS3/4

And then Kaz Hirai will come out with only a Subligar on and dance Yatta while attached to some cords from the roof to make him fly around the conference room.

PS4 announcement is not coming any time soon, trust me.

Yeah with SE's mentality I suppose that is an appropriate response, lol.

I have a strong feeling alot of new info will come out of this year's TGS. Reason being since they announced the whole gil/ price reduction being implemented (not trying to divert thread or post my position on it, but i think we can all agree there are many who are upset over it) they are going to release better info to make us forget about it.

Look what they did when 2.0 was announced. They almost simultaneously initiated the billing process (again not posting my opinion but some were upset over it) and put out the whole multi page pdf with info and screenshots.

Another reason i believe is it is one of their last opportunities to hype the game more before seriously getting into the alpha/beta tests. And we all know SE likes to wait until the last minute for the juciest info. Like it or not, thats just how they do things.

I wish I could see what the housing zones look like in-game. Those concept pieces were amazing! :3

Yeah, i'd like to see a kind of "endgame" boss, to see in action the all new mechanics.

And this time i hope in really more exciting fight. Tank & spank in 2013 (when the game will be out) No thanks.

@Topic: I'd really like to see some gameplay for Arcanist. That and Thaumaturge/Blackmage.

There is apparently going to be a new game-play trailer but aside from that not much else, probably beta sign ups again.

Looks like it was a fan page actually so nothing official. Guess we will just have to wait and see.
