How about Gambit system?

I think Gambit system is best battle system for FFXIV.
Dragon Age: Origin is implemented same system and it is popular.
Gambit system have good reputation.

I have simple question.
Do you think that Gambit system should be implemented?or not?

I don't think so. The gambit system works well in a game where you are trying to control multiple characters at once, but doesn't make much sense to apply to an MMO like FFXIV.

However, if a Pet Class or Mercenary/Adventuring Fellow system were to be implemented, a gambit-style control scheme has some potential.

In a nutshell you decide how a character responds to each situation, and let the AI take over. Again, this makes no sense to implement into a normal MMO battle system.. unless you're controlling pets or NPCs.

Gambit system would be awesome to control pets! Not player characters, just pets

Gambit system is not equal to AI.
Gambit of FFXII is too useful and too wise.
so,I suggest "Inconvenient　Gambit system".
That,Dev should implement Gambit system as support.
In FFXII, we can set 12 slot.
This is too much.
I think 4 or 5 slot is best on FFXIV.
And, if we can change Gambit group in combat,it would be like changing roll.
How about this?

I don't think a gambit system would work well at all in this game. It would simply automate your character, which would be boring.

I don't mean to be rude, but sorry, just no.

People do not want the computer to play for them. And that's all the Gambit system was. The only reason it was in FFXII was so you would not have to micromanage your other teammates.

It has no place in a game where you don't have NPCs to control.

May I ask... what kind of things, specifically, would you like to see automated by a Gambit system?
