Atomos event duration

So as I'm sure plenty of people have had the chance to grab their infinite amount of seals/gear. Even with change it's still incredibly easy and fast to get seals. I'm currently hoarding my crystals and selling them on the wards to make quick easy money for those too lazy to go and collect and survive the lag fests.

The lodestone banner has been changed to show the new onslaught of Atomos and its minions. Are we to assume this is permanent until the server shutdowns?

there was only an activation date. There has been no expire date set. I'm assuming they're using Atomos as a way of phasing out anima from the large aetherial crystals only to leave it in tact to teleport to the Aetherial gates for version 2.0.

I have probably 150 crystals so far. I just want to know if I the NPC to hand in my crystals is going to dissappear with atomos. Should I keep stockpiling and saving them for 2.0? Should I hand them in quickly before the NPC's are gone? Or can I keep hoarding away with no worries until just before the server shutdowns? A rep response or quotes pertaining to the duration would be awesome! :cool:

atomos will remain there, but foundation day (and npcs) will disappear after their event is over

Okay... but when? Foundation day has no set expiry date according to the website...

pretty sure that wasnt revealed on purpose. So just go with it..

but...my crystal hoarding addiction..... I dont wanna hoard em only to find out later I cant trade em for GC /wrists

So weigh the pros and cons of keeping them and never turning them in vs getting guaranteed seals now. Whichever is greater go with that idea.

Crystals are at least if it happens that you cant trade them anymore a damn great buff food which can be sold just because of the buff very well!

been workign 60+ hours weeks had no time to d more then 4 atomos sets so I hope it runs all weekend at least or longer so I can save gear to level with and get the last rank up.

Same it's been a busy week for me also. I managed to get enough seals to get the serpent crafting set.

I just want to tell S-E that this event is the best one they have done, no one fighting over claim, everyone working together and everyone gets something after they kill atomos. This is how you do public events!

Well if last years founders fest is any indicator Possibly some time in october.

As for atomos it's self I have the feeling that before all is said and done the blighter will pop at every camp. Come the end of the month all bets are off. they wont have New players coming in at all. And they are free to Kick this fecal typhoon up to 11.
