New FFXIV Prelude theme

Did anyone record it during the 3rd live letter. It started up at the very beginning before they were talking.

Someone said its the 25th anni. event Prelude, but I still can't find this "Source" anywhere.. so I'm considering it FFXIV's New Prelude.. and also everything about the event is A Realm Reborn Related. As far as I could see.

Umm... it's def. different, and of course it's the same in all the FF games.. but each one has a unique feel ( Choir, Violin,piano,flute, slowerrrrr/Faster versions etc) but its the same tune. ( this one is a Slower more of a deeper feeling than the other ones). <3

Hmm perhaps you are right, but maybe they needed to place the original music better into the game. Uematsu's greatness was mis-used I think in 1.xx. I listen to the XIV OST fairly often and think it is great!

That is really freakin good. I can't wait for the full ARR soundtrack.

It's definitely not the current interlude used at the main menu.

I listened to a chunk of the new one; it's beautiful, and definitely very different.

The new prelude is just fantastic. I want it. :D

Yes! You said exactly what I was thinking. And to be honest, the FF IV track you linked to is my all-time favorite version of the Prelude. So the fact that this new version evokes it is straight-up awesome.
