They Grab the money and run

This is how I'm feeling right now.

We paid and supported this game till now; we accepted its limits and helped giving suggestions and so on...

and now? now that the end of 1.xx is near and that they hope to re-launch grand style, they suddenly do not care of us no more.

1 - they take our gil away for new-comers;
2 - they split our communities;
3 - they promise a list of discontinued items and never deliver;
4 - they promise "radical in-game world changes" and just change the colour of some gate and add a mob or two.

I feel bad.

As, I can tell from the elegant way you have written your post. You are in fact literate. I can only assume this is a troll post and move on.

I think they changed the world entirely. Why do you say that they just changed the colour of some gates? The stuff I saw in the gameplay videos was very new and cool to me. But then again I am a bit scared with all the changes and new things..

they changed it entirely in 2.0; that's for sure. But I would have expected radical changes in the 1.xx world... mybe I should have mentioned Dalamund becoming bigger and new weather effects... forgot them ahahah.

1 - Unless you are sitting on more then 100 million gil, this does not effect you at all
2 - They are doing this to give relief to the lag/latency issue that plagues many instances in the game, and with 2.0, servers will be filled up with newcomers
3 - They gave a list of achievements that you need to do before 2.0, and commented on dated items in the Live III note (vaguely I admit).
4 - It's still 2 months before the end of the world, they gave us the Atomos event (Got over 80,000 seals in a day, THANK YOU SE), the sky looks like it's about to implode, imperial troops or Magitek Walkers were attacking camps, and a huge event is going to take place in November.

They suddenly don't care? You apparently don't know who Yoshida is, my friend.

** Oh, and October is free to play.

1. Meh. It doesn't affect me but I can't image how the people who have over 100 mil feel.
2. Communities change and grow. We're losing some people and gaining others. Hopefully MogMail will work across servers and with Content Finder we can specifically team up with them and have fun together!
3. I'll wait a month before I let this issue bother me.
4. Again, I'll wait a month before I get bothered by this.

If they were trying to "grab the money and run" they would have just shut the servers down after the shitty 1.0 launch lol.

Um... what? The world is changing radically. I didn't even see any mobs "change color." I did however see new ones, and the environments look DRASTICALLY different. what are you smoking?

Why is this so vital to you? A lot of items on this list should be blatantly obvious just from the achievements:
1)Big game hunter achievements are gone. Probably means the current NMs and their drops are unobtainable.
2)Primal achievements are gone. Probably means the current primal weapons are unobtainable.
3)All dated items and related craft materials not used for something else will be unobtainable.

That's the bulk of your list right there.

Why would they change the 1.0 world when they are completely rebuilding it in 2.0, jesus double the work much what are you smoking. They ain't taking gil away, just limiting the cap a person can hold, like u need over 100m anyways, also retainers/mules can hold gil so I doubt anyone has 300m+ right now which can be held on 1 char + rets.
