"Answers" Theme of Final Fantasy 14 and Fate there after~

I have not seen any threads on this but this song was really meaningful to me about 1.0 and just the way it was to fit in with the story... I mean all Final Fantasy games have that one vocal song that represent them and I still think this song has a strong vibe to it. What is the fate of the song and I think it would be cool to be played during the final cut scene or something at least in my perspective x_x It is really an epic song... I don't know its the song that went through my head while I was doing the Pilgrimage quests heh...

Usually the Songs of a game represent something involved with the story its not just a pointless song... I don't know if it truly went out the door with Tanaka or if it still serves a purpose in the future of Eorzea~

I think it would best be used in the final cutscene before 1.0 closes.

in the 25th year talk show they said somethig like the story in 2.0 would be closer to what was intended at first. Maybe the theme will still work.

But they also said most of the original music from 1.0 would be removed, so...

I don't know. :|

But yes, it should be used for the ending of 1.0

Yeah exactly. I really hope the entire overworld is changed to this in the final days...

Yoshi confirmed in a previous interview that the theme Answers will be featured in the launch of ARR. I certainly look forward to it. :)

I don't see why they wouldn't use this song , it's one of the things that was great in 1.0 =)

I think that these words alone give it a strong backing for being used at the end of 1.0 and beyond. Especially since I think the last line could have a double meaning by just changing "for" to "'fore" (as in a shortened version of before). If you think about it:

We're going off to summon the gods. Will they answer our cries? Whether they do or not, it doesn't stop our destruction so we have to repeat our "plight" in the future. Plus, they've already stated that people from 1.0 will have physical signs that they lived through the events into 2.0, so it's both a literal and metaphorical "bearing" of sin from the past. And this is a final fantasy, so the future is always about to be taken by someone!

(Spoiler tag just in case people haven't finished the GC quests or something. ;) )

I missed that interview thanks Inaaca =3 I owe ya buddy and it makes sense a lot of the song whether purposely or not still connects with the feeling of the game with the lyrics x3 then again it can be said for any struggle~

It's one of the better interviews, in my opinion.

And yeah, I love the song to death too, heh. The relaunch is gonna be great. :)

It'd make a good ending song to 1.x too I think, but it fits just as well in the intro cutscene for ARR.

The thing is parts of this are so engrained even Rise of the White Raven has a "think... feel..."

Its in im pretty sure.

I listened to this song almost non-stop waiting to get into beta the first time... and not once did it dawn on me that the chanting at the beginning was actually english lyrics...

Inaaca you just made my day! I'm thrilled to hear that this song is going to have a place in the future. I think it's an amazing piece.

be cool if they like chose 1 bard per server and gave them the ability to play the song on the last 10 days... sure would drive a few hundred ppl crazy but would be epic =O
