1.23 Imperial Event

Came out of Garuda and noticed Van Darnus Music. Ran to Dragon head and found imperials roaming. Could be a 'purple banner' item.

Ooh found a Magitech Vanguard H-1 and a Imperial Centurion

Summary:

¤ In Dragonhead, Iron Lake and Broken Water, random r50 imperials spawn all over the place.

¤ In 2 locations per camp there is a 'boss group' consisting of an Imperial Centurion, a Magitech H-1 and about 6 Elite adds. They move very fast and hit very hard.

¤ Killing them may reward you with a drop (to loot list, no chest).

¤ You can get either the Imperial Operative Tricorne or Imperial Operative Hat.

¤ Drop rate is not known (but it isn't 100%).

¤ There doesn't appear to be a Lodestone history record for defeating imperials or the boss group.

¤ There doesn't appear to be a quest or a 'duty' for the invasion.

¤ The boss group will respawn not long after the last one dies.

¤ At the time of me writing this, the duration of the raids and any recurring schedule is not known.

Holy crap they hit a ton. THere is a group of a Centurion, a Vanguard and about 6 Elites that are one linked group. THey all have haste and they hurt.

I can't find an NPC and the don't drop elixirs like last time.

Just happened for us at Dragonhead, too. Group of about 30 zerged the magitek. :) It was purple for me, so no drop.

Looked around for an NPC, and didn't see one. No one in nearby caves.

Good times.

okay the party that beat H1 didnt mention any reward at all

to resume it:
pops around xx:10 maybe
pop in iron lake
pop level 50 imperials
pop a group of elite imperials, a centurion and H1 magiteck
drop nothing so far

So...we got claim and we killed them...

No drops, no messages, nothing hahaha. What?

Well we got 1 1/2 party out there and we did our Moogle technique of a heap of WHM and a couple of BLM and double holies. We managed to wipe most of the eques and got the others down bit by bit. My party had claim for the centurion and Vanguard kill and we got nothing. I'll check my Lodestone history in a bit. Another LS mate said he got 2 of each element crystals from killing Centurion.

It repawned pretty quickly tho

Oh and you may want to consider not gathering in Dragonhead XD.

i Dunno if it respawn or not but theres another H1 in north west iron lake

Ha! That's exactly how I found out about it. One of my LS mates was gathering in Dragonhead, and she started saying, "Wtf? Bunch of level 50s just popped right on top me! They're going to kill me!" Conclusion: "Guess I'm done gathering in Dragonhead." lol

2 Spawn-points for the H-1 so far.

1 North-West from Iron lake X20, Y5, were you can see usually a bunch of raptors, second is straight east from Iron Lake at X27, Y7.

Yeah we got the first kill in, but left to go do Garuda again.

Anyone can confirm the mage hat? Maybe the one in Iron Lake drops it.

Not yet, will take a SS when i see it.

btw, any record of this on lodestone achievement?

No clue yet.. checked a couple people, but didnt see an achievement so far.

I wouldnt be surprised if the mage-hat drops at the dragonhead magiteks.. but we will know soon.

so nothing drop from other enemy beside H1?
even the centurion and elite team?

I asked scorpion if the tricorne drops (while they were killing the H1) , they said they don't know

Also could you show us a picture of the person wearing it, thanks

They know by now. i just saw your screens.. you are at the ones at dragonhead.. did drop anything there yet? Leam Kararagi from Cream Punch just got Mage-Hat.

Doesnt matter with /display head off. If i find someone where it is actually visible on their characters head, i will.

Imperial Officer's Hat drop

Display head off isn't the issue. Showing us the hat on their gear list would be sufficient.

How would i make a Screenshot of THEIR Gearlist? O_o You mean the Gear-Window when i check them? <.<

I gave the Info's i have, i checked the people, screen'd the info out of the Hat and thats it ( since i care more about the stats rather the look ).. if you dont believe it.. go and kill it yourself. XD Back into Game now, or i will miss the Fun.

Mage hat dropped at Dragonhead. I guess both hats can be dropped at either location.
