Solid Characters in PVP

I wonder if our characters will become solid in PVP so other players wont be able to run through us for their rear combos, or god forbid - standing inside us as they smack us around so we cant initiate a directional combo on them.

That would be so frustrating.

What would you like?

Turned off collision because of JP complaints. I wonder how they'll treat it in 2.0

As long as they don't go the route of tera, I'm all for whatever they have to give us. Honestly not being able to run through mobs, but having them be able to run through you is not a fun scenario when you are fending off 20 adds and your tank relies on keeping all the mobs in front of him :P

if they bring collision back, I warn you to avoid getting trap against a corner.

They didn't turn off collisions... They said if a player is standing still for more than 30 secs... THEN collision will be disabled on that player.

Aion's pvp combat was interesting. And since we are getting Arcanist/Summoner it reminds me of that game even more (Book + Pet + Magic) minus the flying. The only PvP MMO I played that had collision was Warhammer. And that game didn't fare to well.

Who knows, maybe in the future (Maybe a game expansion, Yoshi-P states that their maybe new content for flight/sky) we will have some sort of flying/combat or PvE raids.

Didn't Yoshi say that there will be public events as well? Maybe their PvP related.

Aion was and IS a terrible game still, with RNG brought to such extremes that it breaks the game and makes it unplayable.

Yeah they added an all new ability for all classes to cancel a stun for 1:30 cool down and gimped a lot of classes. Then shortly went f2p. (Like Tortanic lol)

But the combat style was smooth and flying did bring an exciting aspect into the PvP.

I would DEFINITELY like collision to be brought back EXACTLY for that reason.
It's called terrain advantage and forces player to use strategy during fights.
We need more strategic fights, not less.
Also, for PVP, it will prevent what was mentioned before: people standing in you to render directional combo ineffective.

So, please bring back collision for everyone! :D
(It also prevents being swarmed by 50 monsters and being reduced to a puddle of crushed organs in blood soup)
