1.0 then vs now

I know that things have changed drastically from launch til now. Just wondering if anyone has any good then vs now screenshots they could share. I'm curious to see how the landscape and mobs have changed over the different updates. I only played for a week during the initial beta phase, then didn't come back until last December, so I think I missed quite a bit of changes. I've read about how the mobs have grown larger, and certain areas have changed (pools of water dried-up, etc.). Anyone have any comparison shots to share?

No screenshot, but good then imo would be stamina, no auto attack, and greater spell/ws/ability selection.

I wish I had taken some screenshots of me next to the old Dodos and marmots. All I have are pictures of me and my old friends in our noob gear.

No guaranteed exp after you killed a mob. The longer you need to kill it the more exp you can get.

Hmm since beta on Sept 4th 2010 I have taken 4703 pics (14.5 GB). Im sure I have some of everything that changed >.> outside of pools of water drying up, 1st time I heard about that change. And as for posting pics... I have no idea where to start lol

Think you're missing what I'm looking for.. I was hoping to see some screenshots of things that have actually changed in the game like mobs that have grown larger or landscape changes, not just ascpects of gameplay that have changed.

If you give me the key months stuff happened i can easyer find pics of changes. I have all pics in folders of months they where taken. Really dont feel like going though last 3 years worth of pics looking for stuff ;x

That's awesome! Exactly what I was looking for! If you have pix from back that far, can you please post a few from the first month or so vs latest ones? I'd love to see dodos then/now and any other mobs that might have changed. I don't know exactly when stuff changed, because, as I said, I only returned last December.

No pics sadly, though I do remember 15 man behests. Running a whole LS in groups of 15 running through areas bogging down the servers. Good times.

Also there is a thread out there of Dalamud gettign bigger over the years. Im sur ei might have pics of it too but ; ; to many to look though to find them lol i only been taken pics of it lately since I think patch 1.19

Cant forget when mobs used to follow you around ( I miss that ; ; )

I vaguely remember that from playing the beta for a week. That and the battle regime thing that I never understood.

I don't recall any changes to the world itself... except for the addition of a few NPC outposts, and the monsters getting bigger and being redistributed.

Even your Garuda Van looks smaller :p

There were no real landscape changes save for a LACK of strongholds, which wouldn't look like much. Most of what changed was content, and not much visibly changed aside from mob size.

This thread is giving me Beta/Launch relapse episodes. :< Stop it!
