Monk all the way baby. ;o Though, My secondary would be Thief :) I'd like to see Viking in this game too, as a branch off of Marauder.
Having to decide between Beastmaster and Dragoon is a challenge. Augh. Went with DRG, though.
I would too, but I'd like some from FFT like Arithmetician and some others that have a very unique concept compared to any other class in the world of MMOs.
One of the ideas I had was for Musketeer to be a class and Cannoneer to be the Job. Cannoneer was in FFTA2 and is AOE ranged + Debuff/Enfeeble. Musketeer would be single target + debuff, so I like to think of Musketeer/Cannoneer as the ranged version of Marauder/Warrior except doing less damage and more debuffing.
As for the other, Musketeer>>Corsair, That can be done as well but I want to see some Job diversity from FFXI. I'd like this game to steer clear of FFXI as much as possible, not because I don't like FFXI (Which, I do like), but because this is an entirely different game and needs to be seen that way. FFXI is still alive, and still available for people to play.
I'd just like to see some new jobs with entirely new concepts, nothing original to FFXIV exactly, but just not too much borrowed from FFXI. I'd like FFXI to still be a desirable MMORPG, not try to get everyone to play FFXIV.
PLD forever.
Cecil was such a great character.
I'm really sad that FF XI and XIV don't allow the job to shine properly.
DRK forever!
Cecil was such a great character....
Blue mage its just awesome when you beat out mob by there own spells or ws :P
Pup would be my second choice ofcourse
I have to go with Red Mage. It has a little bit of everything.
I always thought it would be kind of cool if they added Mime to FFXI. I kind of feel it would even be cooler if it was added to FFXIV, but I think it would be a really hard class to implement into a MMO. Of course if they ever do the AF should look something like this: http://i48.tinypic.com/24xgw46.jpg
(Gogo, a mime from FFVI)
Rdm all the way
Samurai baby!!!! WOOTT!!! :D
Blue mage ftw people
I had to remake the poll on a dif site because the other one was messing up. If you already voted just vote again, I updated the link.
Mystic Knight forever.
Love me some Flare/Holy Sword action.
Summoner #1 but my 2nd favorite is White Mage.
Just like Lady Yuna (FFX) :D
Samurai all the way! Give me samurai Yoshi!
RDM in the lead :P
Holy Swordsman

There has never been a stronger FF job or character, ever.
Red mage are the best they can do everything and have a soooo cool gear !
How about this?
it's a red mage it's suppose to be red , black mages are black no blue!!!
I don't see why she's a horrible character, I think she was very sweet and very caring, she's awesome too.
"Yuna is a kind-hearted, loyal, honest, and polite humanitarian who strives to see the best in others and has a strong conviction to complete whatever task she feels is her duty to perform. She is incredibly naive, always believing the best of people, and often places the needs of others above her own, often considering her needs secondary, or less significant, than the needs of others.
Yuna.
She, like most summoners, was a firm follower of Yevon's teachings and often came across as quite naive, believing that her duty to Spira's people and responsibility as a summoner was to defeat Sin. Described by Auron as "serious to a fault", she would often hide her feelings of fear, sadness, and desperation while encouraging others to express themselves in her place. She often seemed quite willing to carry others' burdens to ease their own pain, and was willing to sacrifice her own life to destroy Sin and give up chances for her own happiness if it meant helping others.
However, her contact with Tidus and ever-growing love for him caused her to begin questioning some of Yevon's teachings, and became increasingly more direct and open. When she learned of the hypocrisy in Yevon's upper levels, her faith was profoundly shaken, but she resolved to continue her pilgrimage despite Tidus and Rikku's protests. When finally confronted with the truth of the Final Summoning and the "spiral of death" the summoner's pilgrimage ensured, her faith in Yevon was finally destroyed.
She refused to sacrifice one of her guardians to Yunalesca, and resolved to destroy Sin permanently without the "false hope" in the Final Aeon. After the painful sacrifice of her aeons to destroy Yu Yevon and bring about an Eternal Calm, she was deeply saddened by Tidus's departure, proclaiming her love for him just before he disappeared."
rdm that popular? omg ;XD ...
hmm i cant make my decision between drg/SMN... followed by pupp right after.
Hm, I guess I'm weird cause I liked Kimahri in FFX and Hope from FFXIII and they are known as the worst characters in video games, even though I made Kimahri the strongest character in game and they said Hope sucks because he uses a magical boomarang that he can control in mid-air and the best healer in the game, but mostly they hate him cause he's annoying even though he just recently lost his mother when he joins the party. Tch.
Princess Garnet > Eiko
Garnet sucks she pissed me off when she was mute all the time !
Hope is annoying at the beginning but he changes and at the end he gives hope to lightning ,that's why i like him he changes during the journey .
I like Red Mage best, but I also really like Thief and Puppetmaster as well.
I had been thinking Time Mage might be interesting in this game though. They could be in charge of debuffs like slow, stop, heavy, bind. And buffs like haste, increased movement speed.
