This isn't a good place to vent your frustration in lieu of failing at something. Prepare to get 5 pages of people telling you how much they hate you and wish your life would end.
You can lose fights in this game even if you know them well. It happens.
yup, the randomness of the fights is what makes these fights awesome.

I think it's intentional. He has a "combo" chariot > chariot > dynamo, but he says something in the log before starting it so the melees can avoid 1 chariot and not be knocked back in dynamo range (featherfoot, jump, etc.)
It is a combo. He will say something followed by three periods.
that's your cue to clear to safe distance.

Meteors are not the issue, but he has been a bit random at times and teleported different spots than normally expected so the standard "safe spots" did not work. One run you don't get hit at all, others everyone goes down. The weird inconsistency was the group of mages/bard stacked on each other. Some would get hit, others would not. Makes sense.
have got to agree with some points here AoE spam and hitting only certain people in the safe spot is annoying also after meteors spamming AoE over and over is just as annoying swear to god SE programms his ass to stop you killing him until you have battled against him at least 20 times >_>
