New weird WHM spell from trailer

OMG. That's the barrier spell that we've been waiting for since the trailers for the original game.

Might be a new animation for Benediction, that looks like a fairly large radius.

or even holy. Who knows

Both the enemies were targeted when it went off. You can see the white circle around one of them in the screenshot.

It was just a revamped Holy. Watch the video a couple times and you'll see all the old features of the spell are actually still there. Same aura start up... Big fancy explosion, followed by enemy getting hit by a shiny blue circle.

I could see people being thrown off by the explosion though, but if you watch closely after that animation effect all the enemies get hit by the spell.

Maybe its Holy II? or Banish?

I could actually see the spells name being called banish, lol.

Especially if it knocks enemies out of the circle while it's up.

No it's the barrier to the chan\mber you have to break into in one of the new isntances... It's nothing to do with the WHM. Watch the video.

No, the aura is around the WHM, and at the top of the aura is a biggish glowing orb. After a second it does the explosion and the enemy on the left reels back from the damage (to the left of the WAR). He gets a small effect on him when the spell goes off, and the one in front that the WHM is facing doesn't get the effect until the spell starts fading away.

The reason everyone is facing the wall is because there's an enemy there that only the PLD is not attacking.

Looks pretty damn awesome.

Definitely is Holy. I saw "Enaero" on the Boss...

yeah that's got to be holy or a banishga type spell. it's not a barrier >>
