Summoner is going to summon a piece of the Primals, similar to FFXI. We aren't really summoning them, that's what we get to do with the Free Company Summon System. Instead, we are summoning their essense. A fraction of themselves.

I wonder if summoning a primal with a company will boost summoners-of-that-company's summoned essences of that primal... would be an interesting concept

Oh, I'm kind of disappointed to see that they summon primals (Or essences, whatever). I was really hoping to see them use the more unique and underused summons, not the same Ifrit and Shiva again

There was no visual distinction between an Avatar and its Prime form though, other than size. I get the feeling there's going to be one here, especially what with the true Primals being able to be called by Companies.

I'm guessing Alchemist would be the target craft for Arcanist and Summoner weapons, they need some more acknowledgement besides Skirmish weapons. :P

The enfeeble system has be reworked or the dots and debuffs aren't gonna be worth using.

I'm liking the AF design, except for the boots maybe. This maybe my next main or 2nd main job

The AF seems dark and evil, that of a black mage.. and summoning essences , what should this mean? i hope we get clearification, when they upload the presentation on youtube.

will summoners summon versions of ifrit for just a single attack or what does that picture shows?

i was also hoping for other summons than the typical ones..
that means Siren will be a primal boss, like fenrir as well?

I am liking the Summoner look and carbuncle looks so fluffy <3 I am loving the books also very nice can't wait! Arcanist sounds like my kind of job and i have missed the old Thm enfeebles so hope this comes back and more.

Well summoning is kind of a dark art so it could have a dark style to it but not too much, it's not like Black Mages but still. :p

wow it kinda reminds me too a little bit of Sch but that's just because they're holding a book... lol carby is so cute and not radio active this time... I think i'm going to try that class and job when it comes
