Gear critique thread

Hello =)

I wanted to post my current gear set up and ask about which areas I should focus on improving. I recently learned that it's pointless to go over brd caps of 330pie/300dex and I'm currently sitting at (with jerked beef food) 351pie/318dex so I was wondering where I should swap things out what I should swap them with.

main hand: Flame Lt. bow
head: paragon crown
body: raptorskin harness (+35 PIE)
Hands: felt bracers (+39 DEX)
legs: Felt trousers (+8 STR, VIT +13, DEX +11)
Feet: Choral sandals
waist: Flame sgt. sash
earring: manderville (I know this sucks)
neck: electrum gorget +1
wrists: tourmaline +1
ring1: tourmaline +1
ring2: tourmaline +1

As you can see I'm a flame so that's the GC gear available to me.
Anyway, can I get some suggestions?

P.S. Keep the flames down and respect others' opinions please.

The Dex you would miss from the Hands you could get with 2 Spinel +1 Rings.
You could also go for double meld PIE Pants.

Get a militia Subligar and keep dex on your hands~

This, and I say Electrum Choker +1, but I guess Explorer's would be okay too.

I see a difference of opinion... I've been looking for an answer to this myself... Attack or Dex gloves.. As said I know I could replace the Dex with Dex rings, but then that's 36 PIE out of that slot, right? Where would I replace that if I were to go with that gear decision?

Get att gloves, 2 dex rings+1, garuda's bow, militia subligar, DL caligae for feets and explorer's earring

Wear your af legs for some piety and dex. It's better than your legs now overall.

Hi, I am looking to get some advice on how I can better my current/goal gear sets for my BRD.

I am Grim Dhalmelneck from Hyperion, I am also looking for a DL run/Primal LS if there is someone here from Hyperion!

Hands - Felt Bracers w/ +40 ATK power
Waist - Raptorskin Satchel Belt w/ -13 Enmity
Legs - Choral Tights (also have Raptorskin Subligar w/ STR +9 and DEX +14)
Feet - Choral Sandals (also have Explorer's Moccasins)
Ears - Explorer's Earrings
Neck - Electrum Gorget +1
Wrists - Tourmaline Bracelets
R/L.Finger - Tourmaline Ring +1

Goal setup...

Main Hand - Garuda's Spine (preferred) or Artemis Bow
Head - Paragon's Crown or Imperial Operative Tricorne
Body - Choral Shirt or Raptorskin Harness w/ 30+ PIE
Hands - Felt Bracers w/ 50+ ATK power
Waist - Scarlet Sash or Flame Sergeant's Sash
Legs - Militia Subligar
Feet - Darklight Calligae
Ears - " "
Neck - " "
Wrists - Tourmaline Bracelets +1
R/L.Finger - Spinel/Tourmaline Ring +1

With the set above... estimated to have around 349 PIE/287 DEX with the goal set

On the feet, you'll want to aim for Darklight Boots rather than Darklight Caligae. The extra +5 piety and -30 emnity is worth more than the +20 crit attack power and +10 accuracy. ie: Go to Aurum Vale rather than Cutter's Cry.

I have gotten Darklight Boots for my BRD now, still after the Callligae for my DRG and MNK. I also gained a Raptorskin Harness with +33 PIE, went 1/3 on it and gained a pair of Felt Bracers with +52 Attack Power, went 1/1 on them. A setup for my Relic has also been planned out for when I get my hands on it.
