Player with higest commendation count?

I'm wondering about who actually has the highest commendation count out there. From what I could find, the highest aknowledged player has 27k+ currently, but my count is 32k+ so I wonder if I could possibly be a candiate for the record.

While I know it has no practical use it would still be interredting to know if I could be a candiate for the record or if there is someone out there with more.
I started in 5.1 as white mage...and I'm still whm main today. I love the job and one of my special interrests is to find survival strats for when a duty goes completly wrong. I like to test what I can take and what kills me so I know what I can survive if I have to.

It'll be great if people out there will help with information.

I have 10,920. I have talked to people that have maybe a few hundred more. At a certain point, there's no need for roulettes anymore for any purpose, so I changed what I spend my time on.

Understandable. Personally I still like to do normal duties for fun and to test out stuff. Recently for example I have a big interest in experimenting with surviving aoe tbs as whm. Keeps my job fun and engaging even after years of play. And commendations made me a better healer because back when I farmed the 3k for mentorship I decided I genuinely wanted to earn them so I improved a lot as healer and has continued to refine my repetoir.

I have 261 days and 1364 only. Real struggle for 1500. Been playing since 2024.

Play a healer and you'll drown in coms.

The only comms I still want to get are the final 900 so I can get the parade birb mount and call it a day.

Also, I don't do rous for comms but I do them for the daily tomes that I need to complete my remaining alt job DT relics, and I swear we will always need more math tomes for the next step too.

Play as an astro with a cool name. :)

I mean that is a little bit fun but it's not really all that special either. I've done it myself multiple times on healer and DPS.

I knew it could be done because I am a tank main and anyone that is a tank main knows that tank busters do not hurt in dungeons. You don't need mitigation for them and they rarely even feel like tank busters. So simply using Addle or Feint may allow you to survive one as a DPS. And healers have a lot more persistent mitigations they can use to achieve the same effect or assist the DPS that is using their own mits.

What really makes dungeons fun is to remove either the tank or the healer or both. Having both of them is far too overpowered and makes dungeons boring, but subtracting one makes you have to work together as a team a lot more.

The thing about TB's is that people tend to get panicy about them. For example if I decide to stand with the tank because I know it's safe some tanks suddenly start to run around so people tend to belive some TB's are more dangerous than it is.

About testing the aoe ones... I personally find it useful so I already know what mit I need in case I'm forced to deal with one from tanks being M.I.A

It's also fun because I like to experiment that way. Keeping things fun. I don't just test dungeon ones. I also test 8 man ones when I suspect I have a survival chance... and those hurts sometimes. I kitchen sinked all my whm survival tool to test an endwalker one and I only made it with a tiny slice of hp to spare.

I'm approaching 10,000. I think around 9200 now?

I keep waiting for them to add another achievement past 5,000.

The only reason I still bother with roulettes is because I collect relic weapons, and for that I need a bazillion tomestones.

I have 4k commendations. I stopped doing roulettes and other DF content, so I won't be getting more anytime soon. I'd do them again if they added a new goal, like a mount for 10k or some other good reward.

More achievements for it would be nice indeed. Like 5k and 10k as you said. Mabye a nice fraiming kit or something as reward. I like collecting those since I like making portraits.

I started playing since release of 2.0 and i have really low 4606 commendations, which i don't deserve any of them when my skill is very bottom.

After I got the parade chocobo I stopped caring, tbh. I have been playing healer a lot more lately and a get a bunch but it's not really a big deal to me. Wish there were some more rewards behind it.

The most commendations I got when I was leveling the healer classes through daily roulettes in Stormblood I think. And since then I don't really do roulettes, or duty finder content in general, anymore besides the weekly alliance raid and normal raid until I have all gear pieces for one class. So I won't get that many commendations anymore.

Last I counted I am at 22k+ but I last counted a year ago and it's across all my characters. I doubt it's gotten that much higher though, I've spent most of my time leveling DPS since last count.

I do the roulettes I feel for on the day. Mostly lvl cap, expert and 8 man. Sometimes when I just feel like doing duties for fun I will repeat normal roulettes since chances are high you get something fun.

I rarely farm mentor since there is only so much prae and random ex duties my sanity can handle so I'm still bellow halfway.

I used to queue for more alliances but queue times are awful sometimes for stuff that isnt CT. I used to do nier almost daily for like a year in the past. I had a lot of fun with that.

If more people would unlock lvl 60 alliances I could spend hours in dun scaith. Love that place. I did it over 100 times a couple of years ago when it was up as moogle tome objective. Even met my in game partner there.

I generally feel its a problem that its hardto get alliances above lvl 50. SE should make all alliances mandatory like... unlock these to advance to next expansion..

That might solve the problem.

Started Playing on 4/18/2022. Spent the vast majority of time in end-game content, 60-70%. I only did dailies/ weeklies if I needed to farm tomes or relics. Sitting at 4.7k Coms currently.

Playing since June 2022. 256 days playtime, 7432 comms. Played a lot of roulettes because I enjoyed them, mostly on tank and healer for need bonus and fast queues.

I get either none or one as a DPS main. :(

How I give commendations after a PUG dungeon/alliance/raid :- (Since I'm not using ACT/Plugins to track other players progress).

Priority Healers (if they are still around to get it)
if healer raise = Lalafails = Pass!
else if healer = Male avatar = Pass!!

If both are female avatars, I will vote on who has the better seductive character card!

I always get impressed when someone endured 2k mentor roulettes. I'm not even halfway despite years as a mentor because I prefer the more duty divided roulettes.

With the other roulettes its a bit more...predictable how long I'm going to spend in a duty and I know if I need mental space in my head for 3, 7 or 23 people before I queue. Plus I can sort out if I want a lvl 100, 50+ or anything dungeon or light/full party.

In mentor I need to be mentally ready for anything and that's simply not always an option since its a day to day basis how much randomness I can put up with in my head.

An advice to those of you who farm mentor roulettes...
Consider doing the farming on a day where you are in surplus and in good mood. The mount is going nowhere. (Which is what I have to remind myself of when I see how pretty it is xD)

I started playing during the post-ShB patches and have accumulated around 631 days of playtime. Currently sitting at 22,835 comms.

I mostly play tank or healer so yeah, if anybody's looking to farm commendations, I highly recommend playing as one. :)

I do a daily mentor rous if I'm not working on the DT relic for math tomes since I like the idea of a long term goal for myself. Also, most of the time I get ARR dungeons over anything else, and I have like 434/2000 done, so I know I could do more, but I'm easily bored tho. It's not that I like collecting the mounts, but I like the randomness unless it's too hard for me to clear it, like old extremes since I've never done them.

Honestly I sometimes get embarrassed in mentor when I get a dusty old EX I never synched before. Then I stand in my mentor crown that the game forced me to display because I queued as mentor and has to tell 7 other people that I have no idea what to do here xD

Making me wish I could just toss the pointy end of the mentor crown at the boss and run for it.

Then you're doing it wrong. Explain to the group that this is baby-level content with mechanics your grandma could do first try with her eyes closed and hands tied to her back. Then after the wipe just blame the others. Wopa mentor-style!

i have just over 3k, been playing since 2.0
i only wanted to reach 3k for the mount, other than that i don't really care about comms

That doesn’t sound like fun. Tbh it’s the reason I never unlocked mentor roulette.

I guess it depend from person to person. In my case I don't like too much unpredictability and the mentor roulette is so random. In other roulette types I get more predictable parameters despite the duty randomness.

My prefered roulettes are expert+lvl cap because I got my entire toolkit, normal roulettes because im guaranteed lilies and it has many fun duty options. Trial roulettes are also among my prefered though I like normal more.

I love alliances from wheeping city and up but usually skip that roulette cause CT...CT...CT

I'm hoping one day they'll add more achievements / rewards / mounts / titles when it comes to commendations, I need something to work toward :p
