Constant 90k Issue STILL
Is anyone besides me and a few others I know STILL getting the constant 90k more than a couple of times a day? I have no issue staying connected on any other game BUT this one lately. It has never been this bad either
Posting to see if anyone knows of a fix or if it's truly still just the servers doing it randomly to people

It doesn't happen to me. I'd suggest getting ExitLag and connecting to Los Angeles 2.

I haven't DC'd since week 1 of savage. I'm in the midwest not using a VPN, but I have seen some friends still DCing so I wonder if it's a specific ISP causing it this time around.

I have never had this problem. I will and have never paid for any service like vpn or lag killers. Never paid for a service never ever ever had issues with lag or dc’s. However, I have also always chosen mid to low pop servers, because I like good connections and pings and whatever other jargon sounding thing people care about these days.

Yeah, have you tried free the CloudFlare WARP? I find it helped alot but sometimes it fails to save me but it's way better than nothing too :(

I've been having long lag spikes recently but no outright disconnects yet.

I've had a few hiccups, in particular last Friday/Saturday just past midnight I was getting disconnected every 5 minutes for half an hour, I was even trying to do OC things and that made it nightmarish, but past those moments it's been fine, and I never had any long ques when I relogged so I assumed it was on my end or a node between me and the servers, I am pretty far away after all.

I'm sad that my first post here has to be about this issue. I recently got the game and it's annoying to be disconnected so frequently. Friends told me to try a VPN, but not even that saves me from getting error 90002 (and it comes with no details, just "connection with server was lost").
I don't think it is so uncommon that the internet connection might have some hiccups here and there, but the game instantly kicking you out for a half-second hiccup gets tiring, especially if you're in the middle of a cutscene.
I'm enjoying the game overall, but damn, once my free days are over, do I really want to pay for this?

try changing your dns to cloudflare

The fix is to either play on JP or EU datacenters or pay for a robust VPN service.
If paying for a VPN on top of already paying a subscription to no fault of your own but SE just so you can play FF XIV sounds ridiculous it's because it is.

It hasn't been an issue for me for several weeks (and when it did happen it was my own internet, not the game). Have seen a few people DC, and herd about some in NN tho. But its not mass anymore.
