Likely related to the frequent DDOSing. Bumping for visibility. I suggest liking/engaging with threads about the same issue to increase the odds Square addresses the player impact.
Another disconnect at 4:20 PM ET.
Another disconnect at 2:15 PM ET.
Another disconnect at 3:13 PM ET.
Visibility, at this point, is irrelevant.
What the playerbase needs now is RESULTS, or you're going to have some real problems in this game and this community in very short order.
Another disconnect at 4:32 PM ET.
At this point, its the exit node causing the issue. My ISP has their own route to CA and I never get kicked. This has to be an NTT node that isn't up to handle the traffic this game has.
Yeah, this is all on NTT's end; FFXIV servers are not being DDOS'd directly. One of the NTT nodes has been known to cause connection issues, but unfortunately they refuse to do anything about it.
If someone's ISP goes through this problematic node by default (AT&T users are most notably affected by this issue for several years now), they can get a VPN that uses a different route to fix this issue.
