YoshiP teased some stuff at the patch note livestream

・Emote system is being upgraded internally and "combined emotes" system is almost ready to be announced.
・Poetics(tomestone) wasn't meant to be used for so long. They think it's time for major change to gameplay around Poetics(or tomestone as a whole?)

Still hoping they go with my idea for the uncapped tomes. Each patch there should be a mount and/or glamour set that costs like 50k tomestones. And you can turn in 1k for a voucher similar to how gemstones work.

Is there a translation for the combined emote thing? Or a timestamp at least?

We do not need more voucher items. It would be far less costly to just let us hold 50k tomestones.

While I agree there should be more stuff to spend tomestones on, I am against having a voucher system unless it's built into the currency menu because I'm sick of those things taking up inventory space.

You're gonna wait for that for a long time.

Them changing tomestones scares me. So many MMOs think currency is boring and RNG loot is "more exciting" ie. more addictive. Of course, some RNG in an MMO is to be expected but I hope they don't "change up" tomestones by making the game more of a casino than it already is.

Sadly the internet has a lot of nowadays people just chasing the next dopamine high.

Its a MMO. You are supposed to be grinding for long term goals. Its antithetical to the genre to have people logging in for one day a week or one week a patch and not being encouraged or given goals to keep playing.

more vouchers just makes it more cumbersome and annoying while adding no value or convenience at all, i HATE the gemstone voucher system the only saving grace for it is that you can make money off them. just uncap tomes and let us collect/hold as much as we'd need.
