Probably the cosmosuit, it has great regulated internal temperature and carefully monitored vitals.
But more seriously I honestly don't know.
I remember going to camp Broken glass in my dancer outfit that was the 2 b bottoms and a small top big boots lol It looked so out of out place :D
I will go for something more weather appropriate if it is cold like I am hoping ^O^
Can I ask where these hints are for where we're going? I mea,n I know we are not going to Meracydia
I just hope its cold I am so over anything tropical or summery lol
Blindfrost feels like a reach and what we know about that region is that it’s empty tundra with scattered nomad Xaela-ish people and no cities, which doesn’t feel like enough content to fill a whole expansion. I’d wait until we learn more before you start going crazy into glam farming.
If I had to put my money anywhere, I’d probably say Corvos since we’ve had a lot more hints to there beyond YouTuber crazy corkboard theories. We’re getting a Corvos storybook VC dungeon in the next patch too. At least that place would be more interesting and actually uncover stuff on the map.
Maybe it's gonna be all over the place again, because the devs do not learn.
Idk, we didn't know much about tural/new world yet we get dawntrail. With enough imagination blindfrost could be interesting. Heck, knowing nothing about that region means they can go crazy with it.
Personally I don't really care if we go there or corvos, so long it's not meracydia
/shrug
Before Dawntrail we had Mamool Ja NPCs hanging around and a dungeon devoted to them, multiple items referencing the New World, and the whole BLU questline since the job itself originates there so there was a lot of potential.
For Blindfrost we just have 1 line in-game that tells us there’s treasure there and a few lines of nearby areas in the encyclopedia that describe how bleak and empty it is. The treasure dungeon we know is near there is prime VC content but I can’t see it carrying a whole expansion on its own that solely keeps us in North Othard.
While the devs could just retcon all that and put stuff there, I’d much rather they instead put an expansion in a place we actually have context for, that finally clears cloud cover on the map over Ilsabard, and could provide a nice spread of varied landscapes for the zones.
I don't know, we already have so many big coats in the game. I'm not sure I want more winter inspired glam, unless we got a new coat silhouette out of it. Long cloaks that float in the wind would be awesome, like from the Heavensward trailer, but I don't think it's really possible with the games engine.
While I don't think Blindfrost will be the main focus of 8.0, I do think, and hope we explore the rest of Ilsabard then. I hope we get a lot of fantasy dieselpunk inspired stuff.
Same. I've been wanting an ilsabard expansion for years now. Plus the last time they mentioned it, thancred said there's been fighting amongst the colonies liberated from garlean. That's a good potential for nuanced conflict (so long it's not written by whoever responsible for DT)
Same! I don't care where we go, just please let it be cold.... Out of everywhere we have been, only three places have been snowy/winter landscapes. Versus desert/arid landscapes of which we have like nine? And the rest are just forests or tropical. I want more proper cold climates! Garlemald and Coerthas isn't enough, especially since Coerthas is designed to be a landscape 'that used to be temperate and only recently became super cold' so it doesn't really fill the niche that well in my opinion.
Tural was so painfully underutilized in Dawntrail as the story so fully went in on Alexandria's (admittedly more interesting) storyline.
God, I want a new hub city that's got the vibrancy of Tulliyolol or Radz-at-Han with a thick layer of snow. Both Ishgard and (what's left of) Garlemald were brutalist in their building design. Sharlayan was much prettier but also very stark with the white and teal marble architecture. I'm hoping for a Nordic inspired nation for when we go to Blindfrost. Elaborate wood carvings, colorful runestones, highly patterned fabrics, lots of jewelry.
Fat Chocobo Head
Emperor's New Tunic
2B Leggings
J/k, but I'd just wear whatever my character has on, so probably the butler's attire
Don't doom yet.
For Dawntrail we were promised native America and cowboys, and we still ended up with shard travel and cyberpunk.
Endwalker, we were told it'd be about Sharlayan and Zodiark, and we ended up playing catch with baby Hydaelyn and having a friendly duel while standing on the literal outer edge of the universe.
8.0 could be in Agartha for all we know.
Winter glam you ask?
The other reason Blindfrost is being brought up is because we've been ticking things off Emet's list
"Or the treasure islands beyond the frozen waters of Blindfrost, in Othard's north?"
To the OP, if sticking to non-silliness like a bikini, then I would use Garlean gear.
To answer the op, I'm going to finally get use out of that cute glam I made using the Wintertide coat and fuzzy baret.
