Suggestion: Tomestones For Ultimate Weapons

Seeing as how we can buy relics with tomestones I think we should be able to buy ultimate weapons with them too. Going off of recent relics as an example I suggest 6,000 poetics for one legacy ultimate weapon and 6,000 uncapped tomes for a current one. The developers seem to deem that a meaty enough grind that it doesn't devalue anybodys achievement. I believe this will increase the total happiness among the playerbase.

I know it's satire, but holy don't give them ideas, I'd trust them to do something like that for real. ( ; u ; )

That's too challenging. Better to add it to the cash shop instead, for maximum accessibility.

I definitely dont expect them to do that.

Ultimates are still being performed, even outdated ones, and are still part of the high end duty list (unlike savages, which are almost obsolete the moment the next tier is out).

If they would kill that, they essentialy remove the fights that are 'a true test of skill' to never ever being played again. If they would make its reward useless, no one is going to bother anymore going for its reward. The only ones going for it are those who target for 'worlds first', or want the challenge. But then its going to die even faster than DT caused damage to ffxiv's reputation.

If they would make them easier to obtain, the only method i can see them do is using the store. And even that is still a bad idea (as it represents something very close to a pay-to-win concept then).

Not only that can we do ultimates with duty support? Please look forward to it.

Until the titles "The Legend", "The Ultimate Legend", "The Perfect Legend", and so on, are available in exchange for Manderville Gold Saucer Points, players of the critically acclaimed Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game known as "Final Fantasy XIV" will not be safe from the malicious intrusion of account boosting RMT dealers. Every man woman and child who has jumped and landed safely on those acorns deserves at least the FRU title.

omegaKek of course but considering how difficult it has became to reclear ultimates due to player exodus and considering that everyone nowadays requires you to use third party tos-breaking tools to upload logs in order to even participate in ultimate clears, I wouldn't be opposed in some alternative way of obtaining them.

You can already pretty much pay off mercs to pass UWU, UCoB, and TEA for you if you have the gil, so not much of a difference.

This is bait so obvious even fish wouldn't fall for it, yet this forum never disappoints.

What about implementing a gacha system, that would be neat. :')

Extra paid Season Pass, when? I heard SE needs money and fires staff.

$500.00 for a custom 3D printed statue of your character holding the ultimate weapon of your choice and a code in game for that weapon.

Extra $100.00 for the title to be printed on the base pedestal and in game code.
