Who would've guessed? More downtime for the same group of people every single time.
What a load of shit. Give us a discount on our monthly fees, if you're going to constantly keep us from being able to play!

How are people like you so sad?
I get that maintenance is annoying, especially when it breaks up your session or plans. But the servers were down for 2 lockouts. If they discounted your monthly subscription to account for this, you would get approx 5 cents back. Honestly, wouldnt that feel MORE insulting?
SE is a small indie company and cannot afford to compensate you for the time you lost from the servers being down also sorry if you were on a necromancer run have fun starting from the beginning! I'm also 40 years old and this game is all I have so I'm going to insult you on the forums for expecting the bare minimum from a billion dollar company!
Stop demanding more from the billion dollar company! You agreed to the terms of service, so you have to be fine with not getting compensated in game time! Also consider other MMO's with more down time and maintenance that are free to play or that you dont play at all!
God forbid an MMO goes down for maintenance to fix and keep stuff up to date.
Wasn't it just 2.5 hours? For bug fixes? What group of people exactly are you flapping your gums about?
why are we responding to lazy bait, chat?
Its a bit frustrating for OCE players since for us Downtime takes place during our prime time on a day/days where most teams run Savage.
(Tuesday's anywhere between 3PM and 11PM, Or weekly reset day/time for all datacenters)
Sometimes i laugh and say "Imagine putting downtime at those times for US or JP from time to time to make it fair" but frankly, I wouldn't want that. I also thought they should cycle maint times for the datacenters.
OCE maint at 2AM AUS then USE and 2AM PST etc you get the idea. I was told "But then we will get people flooding to other datacenters during downtime for theirs." Too that my response is..... *Motions all around the OCE Ghost town*. I think we would be fine with that....
Ive always heard it explained as they do the maintenance during their business hours in japan. They want their people in the office when the work is done, and they do it simultaneously worldwide to accomodate that. And there is no time of day you can do that doesnt affect someone.
I am somewhat sympathetic towards distressed lalas
