Can we please get beards?

I don't care if its mog station, an unlockable option, or just base game, but can we get beard options for all races? I feel like its not a huge huge ask but most of the character facial hair options are not to my liking, additionally I don't see many of them out in the wild except for lalas with huge mustaches and the highlander faces that lets you have stubble.

If you make a M viera alt you can see some of the worst goatees available in-game right now :v

I mean the fact that we've gone this long without any beards is a clear indication that Yoshi P simply doesn't like them. Or he thinks they wouldn't look good on any of our characters.

Its been over 10 years. Honestly they need to overhaul character creator and add beards. That should have been done with the graphics update.

At least give us the M Highlander options on other races. JP companies and their aversion to facial hair is honestly tiring at this point.

It's no surprise people turn to modding.

i would like more beards too especially for the stubble to be available for all faces

You can use the Santa glam beard and dye it as close to your hair color for now but I also support having more styles of beards.

all of the facial hair options in this game look so weird and pathetic. i truly feel sympathetic to beardbros. heres to hoping you get some proper facial hair.

tbf even with TPT, there's very few beards most of them are just like the 5'o clock shadow, and I know in-game the oldest catboy face has some facial hair, but no one uses it beyond NPCs. Also, anything beyond what the extra midlander face we have now looks bizarre since it clashes with the general art style as most of the men are fairly baby-faced so it looks a bit silly on them.

SE can do this now, but they refused to for players for some reason, as the NPCs are OK with them.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are getting hung up on lore reasons, canonically, we have a LOT more subraces than are playable, like Ishgardian Elezen are supposed to be a third thing aside from Duskwight and Wildwood, and the real reason Gosetsu is allowed to have a (mostly) normal face despite being a Roegadyn is because Othardian Roes are a distinct subrace than Hellsguard or Sea Wolf, perhaps the angle they are approaching it from is that Keshkwa is simply a particularly muscular Turali Hyur, which are not Highlanders.

I want to make clear, I don't consider this remotely a good reason, just that developers being hung up on lore bits way past what is reasonable is not a new thing, Tetsuya Nomura's comment about being concerned over the lore implications of Sora being in Smash still live rent-free in my mind, for how absurd a thought that is, and yet so flawlessly on-brand.

Midman beards and mustaches please. A good goatee or vandyke would be nice as well. Good ones.

Would be nice, and maybe another eyebrow option for Highlanders so that they don't look like they smeared black lipstick on the ridge of their brow.

I personally think, the way Viera men are designed, are to fill the 'feminine male' (I don't remember what its called in Japan) trope that you see in anime and what not. So no facial hair would look good on them since it just makes them look like Viera women in drag.

That being said options for beards, moustaches and body hair are all sorely needed on all male characters.

I would like to see more beard options. The Hyur Highlander has one nice one but it gets repetitive because everybody uses just one.

They can't even add derplander stubble without making an entirely new face for it, I think any new beards is literally impossible.

Operator beards would be good, but on male viera, idk about that one chief.

I do love the male bun designs, but yeah, they are based on the idea of bishonen or feminine men, so I found it baffling why they gave them some ugly mustaches.
