Any FFXIV Plans This Weekend? (8/29/2025)

Happy Friday, friends! :)

Got any fun weekend plans for 14 (or another game)?

I think I'm mostly gonna be taking it easy with College Football taking off with Week 1 this weekend. Mostly doing simpler stuff like roulettes, dailies, grinding FATE ranks, and crafting. May hit some maps or something too. You know, doing stuff that won't require too much attention, lol.

My fc always does the newest alliance raid we're prolly gonna do shatter on sunday, i have to take screen shots but have to consider what I will do in those screens xD

Farm the EX, maybe work on m7s, and relics are coming Tuesday so I still need to go finish my DoL ones. I got a bit lazy with the old format and haven't tried it again with the fixes.

Kind of taking it easy to make sure I jump into Tuesday's patch with more enthusiasm. (:

That said, got to do at least a little PvP every day! Steadily approaching 2600 FL matches.

Probably gonna finish up star ocean the first departure R and probably spend time in Occult Crescent to level up phantom jobs and my Knowledge level.

And a little bit of CC casual match pvp unless I want that coffer lol

Working on tackling HoH floor 100 with the FC. we're going for our mounts.

Doing some crafting, got materials for the level 90 ALC relic and some mats for food buffs too. Might also work on my subs? Not sure yet.

Just fun posting until I get kicked off due to no active subscription. Gotta keep an eye out for those free weekends though, posting on the forums is a lot more social than the game itself, lol.

Nowadays I've only been doing frontlines roulette and EX5, but these past few days the quality of Elemental PF has been pretty bad. Half the problem is constant lag and disconnections for SEA players, dunno why it's happening now. After playing a ton in 7.2, I'm mostly chilling and playing games in my backlog.

Fight Dimensius on Heroic.

Pile on more gil in my collection in XIV after that and show off my Ultimate trophies to people who hate me.

I have 2 characters with arcs on the way.

I pulled the fan from the motherboard with the CPU stuck on it... oops. So I can't log in from Windows. I do have a FFXIV license for the PS5, too, but only up to Endwalker.

I'm trying to get the CPU unstuck, but worst case scenario I might have to do the Rising from the PS5.

Like you, CFB is taking priority*, but I've made it a goal to re-unlock my mentor roulette this weekend.

* just finished watching Georgia Bulldawgs murder Marshall in person, and now I'm at home eating tailgate leftovers and cackling at Alabama potentially losing to FSU.

OMG! The turnaround FSU made in just a year is INSANE! And I'm so proud of them, ngl.
