Hey I totally agree this player is quite annoying. If I was a new player to the game and saw this with no context it would probably cause me to have second thoughts on playing the game.

It's all automated. I've sat and watched them. I blacklist a bunch of them. They disappear. Some time later characters with similar names automatically appear in those exact same positions.

Other players do not behave like I've described. It is a bot net that takes advantage of SE's free trial system. It's automated and meant to get around SE's blacklist. If it was just people doing people stuff I wouldn't care. There's a case of harassment in Gridania on the same server. I blacklisted that person months and months ago and haven't heard a peep. Great!

I see, guess I've just been fortunate enough to not run into where ever they're currently parked since the time I black listed a bunch of them. I normally don't care about AFK groups like the jades, but the weeb police just take up so much screen real estate.

as far as I know, I don't think multi boxing is illegal as a thing.

How is it harassment? The guy just created a bunch of accounts and stands there idle. I find the bards and dancing groups more annoying but I now use the block and bard muting function. I don't even notice that guy any longer. Part of the decor.

I sorta want to gpose a battle scene with my character fighting these guys like it's the battle of helm's deep now or something.

I avoid that hell hole full of those Roe bots. (Ba dum tss LOL) and don't even go to limsa anymore lol either blacklist or move to another city/change server worlds

Don't feed the trolls. Ignore them and move on as long as they aren't consistently whispering to you after you've blocked them. It is not harassment.

Though I hate to sound unsympathetic, I tend to avoid Limsa for the most part. Personally, I don't really see the appeal. Yeah it's a bit of a social hub - but it isn't as if you can't go elsewhere - anywhere where these 'characters' are not - with friends. And yes, it's convenient in terms of proximity to a market board - but the Old Sharlayan aetheryte has one very nearby too and I have that set as a 'favoured' destination.

And I'm well aware that there is a strong argument for "shouldn't have to" - but by the same token, if you teleport to Limsa knowing that it'll be littered with someone's tired attempt at being funny/clever....

I'm sorry to say it but there is nothing wrong with this.

- He pays for the game like everyone else
- He is not breaking ToS by just STANDING THERE DOING NOTHING
- He is not talking to anyone in-game
- He is not doing literally anything except standing there

Compare that to:

- 18+ Shout chats not only in every city-state, but every ZONE in the game. Getting "sex club come 18+ erp at vampire maid night 18+ SEX SEX SEX" while you're trying to fate farm is infuriating
- Every housing ward is taken over by like 5 people who own 700 million accounts and feed the gil bots and hyperinflate the game economy
- Speaking of which, the gil bots are persistent and never stop
- Party finder is toxic and excludes roles frequently, has parsing requirements (3rd party tools anyone?), or in general is just filled with hate
- The moment some mod (the mare thing) gets taken down a million people start making weird harassment partyfinders and clogging up the chats with hate while I'm just trying to play the game and chill
- Gm's do NOTHING ABOUT THIS
- I don't care what the reason is for the above, it's a persistent problem that I have dealt with for 5 years and I am DONE with it and looking forward to the expiration of my sub. You can't complain about one aspect of the community when almost all of it is bad in some form or another

By objective comparison, the titanmen are incredibly mild. It's just Roe dudes standing there minding their own business. I can't conceive of a reason to admonish them when the game is littered with the most annoying stuff that has never been, and never will be addressed. May they stand watch for eternity. Titanman, if you're listening, keep up the good fight. There are those of us who finally get it. I was slow on the uptake in the past and hated you, but I get it now.

It doesn't have to hold water for you - it's not your game. Be like me and unsub if you don't like what the devs are doing. Maybe one day it'll be different. Until then those are our choices if we don't like something that isn't against ToS.

so fill my blacklist manually clicking for 20 minutes, come back 6 hours later they are there again now I have to manually empty my blacklist and manually fill it again. gosh you deserve a noble peace price for your genius.

no they delete the characters and make new ones, and that's it I have blacked listed them over 20 times it does not stop them they just make new free trial accounts and new characters.
