OC is fun, thank you devs!

Seriously, I've been playing since 6am and it's 7:13pm, so I've invested approximately 12 hours (with one break).

Way to go. I feel invested.

I've been stuck at work for the past few hours and I just want to go back to farm more as well!
I have some complaints but overall, I'm definitely enjoying it so far!

12 hours? Damn dude, you need more than 1 break for that. Don't strain yourself too much, we still have months before the next OC update.

Went in earlier for few minutes doing the quest stuff im loving it! I did bojza and I certainly enjoyed this one!

Yeah agreed.
It is as fun as I wanted it to be for the most part.

The story is interesting,
The fights are fun,
The music is great,
The feeling and design of the world is what I wanted DT to be,
The relic grind being back is really making me happy after the disaster that was EW.,
The bunnies being back is great and it’s fun to find random treasure coffers.

This is what I wanted DT the normal overworld to be.

My only gripe are the phantom jobs.
These right now feel kinda underwhelming compared to the Bozja system with all its fun extreme builds it allowed you to do.
The phantom jobs just feel too safe, like role actions and far too niche to a point where you don’t even need them.

All in all though I am happy and I truly hope we see more of the design ideas like in my points above implemented elsewhere as well.

I wish it required more coordination between the people in the zone other than just forming a party to kill a boss but that aside it's been enjoyable so far.

Everything apart from the phantom jobs system is great. I was kinda looking forward to phatom jobs, having more actions is cool (and those jobs can have up to 5)

But theirs so little build Varity, I wish they went more crazy with what you can do and how you can customize your job, I really feel like the phantom job system was a massive let down.

I'll give a lot of my praise though as It's nice to actually have reason to play ff14

The only other field ops I've done is a bit of Eureka, so not exactly an expert on these things, but I'm really liking this in comparison. Obviously the amount of players makes a huge difference, but even just the mechanics I enjoy way more. Phantom jobs are fun (they maybe feel a biiit slow to level at first, but that's probably because I haven't played long enough to get perspective on that) and I like the FATES and CEs. The music and environment are also both great. Excited to play more of it. :]

EDIT: I DID get perspective, in the form of "learning that these jobs do not go very high." If the cap for bard is only 4 and others don't get much higher then I'm perfectly fine with the leveling speed lol.

I agree that the phantom jobs could have had more to them, but it is a lot of grinding for a completionist

I also enjoy not being able to ever try the raid because of how they designed the entry requirements and made it less accessible/easy compared to Castrum/Dalriada. NOT!

I like how the mobs have small detection radius, so l can just relax in base and run to ce when they spawn. Basically another bozja that needs a bit more running

I really loved Eureka so this is up my alley as well. I didn't spend as much time in Bozja as it was a bit gloomy, but I enjoy this zone a lot and the little lore tidbits since I really am a fan of the 5th era.
