Ever wonder what they had planned for FFXIV 1.0? What was the purpose of certain things in the game that we couldn't access? or just find out what Tanaka's team was doing in the 5 years of making 1.0? Voice it here!
Can we finally see all the stuff 1.0 was about? Like the airship landings spread around Ezorea, the areas in the city-states we couldn't access due to invisible walls, Ishgard , those magic spells like the barrier spell or the en-fire spell done to the archers arrows for example. So much of 1.0 was never finished. Is their anyway we can see what Tanaka was actually doing with the game?? :confused:

Some unused areas I'm sure they put aside and will probably use in 2.0 as brand new dungeons and open world content, although its not really brand new, just unused, but new to use. At least it'll get a nice face lift. lol
I had said before I'd like to see the concept art from Tanaka's vision when the game is shut down, possibly as a bonus item when buying the new XIV OST, but as someone pointed out there may be some copyright issues with that one. I really dont forsee why there'd be an issue, its still property of SE to do with as they want. -

There are just so may unexplained things . I would just like to know how 1.0 was going to be / or what they had been working on during those 5 years.. since we are gearing toward 2.0. For Example. Ishgard is totally destroyed in 2.0 . What was it's intent in 1.0 ?(Beside not letting us in lol) Yeah I'm aware of the videos thanks for posting them but there is more than just those areas.
