Really is silly to include items everyone just insta-discards. I get the idea of a booby prize, but make it gil or something so we don't have the additional annoyance of throwing away prisms.

Oh boy Magicked Prisms sell for 1 gil. After you sell enough of them you can buy better things from others.

There are a lot of trash prizes. Prisms, Spring Partition, the Desk, the lamp, the table, etc. are all worthless. 1000 credits is a lot to get them all the time.

Appease the moon rabbit gods by sacrificing your first born vegetable. Only then will you be permitted a slightly better chance at the CE roulette.

Did you want the mount? It's only 1.3m on aether, with all the rewards being <1m each, like the star crew set and the other clothes.

They wouldn't feel so much like a slap in the face if they weren't another boring "sticker above the head" type that literally nobody likes. Variant Dungeons and Wondrous Trails give us some pretty cool magicked prisms so it's not like they can't be something nice. Like a spongoi head, that woulda been fun.

Systems like this need a 'booby prize' but prisms are just so disappointing. I have stacks on stacks of them across retainers that I never bother to use. Why they can't provide interesting visual effects is just beyond me, it's not 2017, are we that worried about some solid, amazing particle effects?

A prism that adds some effect to a character like wow classic fish turning you into a pirate which works in combat and lasts lets say 2-5 minutes is too much to ask from small indie company.

Better get TEN NORMAL CORDIALS AS REWARD ONCE YOU SPENT 20-30 HI CORDIALS YOU CANT EVEN BUY IN THIS EXPLORATION.

I am awaiting for DT bozja to be filled with even more crappy worthless polluting inventory items. BECAUSE WHY NOT ADD MORE OF THEM SINCE DEVS REMOVED HQ ITEMS FROM GATHERERS THAT WERE POLLUTING INVENTORIES AND MARKETBOARD.

They're gonna be able to fit so many clear prisms in that thing.

The Big Bang tickets should give you something good/rare/BIG! I’ve had 5 so far and FOUR of them were cordials. It’s already RNG whether you get to pilot, so give better odds on the BB and remove the super low ticket items from it altogether.

I’ve won so many tables and other furnitures that I think I can open my own IKEA store.

Other than that, I’ve come to accept that these gambling roulettes just aren’t for me & I’m doing it just to not let my currency cap lol. If I want any of the rewards I’ll just pick one up from MB. They’ve crashed very hard and will continue to do so.

Why also add materia? Please, I BEG you, use the materia tokken you made! just had them as the least good, X materia is mostly worthless anyways, but at least you could hand out 2-4 different tokken and i wont get cluttered....

I would mind it a lot less without the prisms and furniture for sure.
I also have a problem with stellar opportunities or big bang tickets not rewarding better, especially the former.

Materia? Especially XI and XII? I can use those.
Delineations? I'm chugging through those like there is no tomorrow, even if they're pretty cheap on the mb, I'll take them for free for sure.
Pocket money (gil)? Works for me as the base failure reward.
Furniture should be in the cosmic scrip vendors.

Those roulette are an intense source of frustration for me, and if the basic rewards were at least giving me something I can use as said above, it would be a lot less infuriating than getting a middlefinger in the form of prisms and whatnot.

And ontop the animation (even if you may skip it) is annoying lol

It is always the same I find the Island sanctuary does the same thing I have so many crappy items like fireworks it is very rare I get anything worth while. The Grand company loot boxes are another thing I have opened so many and got crap haha.

I was just wondering is it worth me being the pilot and getting a spin of the wheel? or is it better to just buy the ticket if that makes sense, thank you :)

The furniture was already super cheap by the time I got a piece… went to sell the lamp I got but it was only going for 60 gil! lol So I kept it and made a mini space lounge area.

Missed opportunity though: instead of Verdant and Spring Meadow partitions from ages ago, they should have put in the vertical and horizontal neon lights. They fit the theme better!

I'm not familiar with Japan's laws on gambling so I can't say much there.

In the game, however, you'll find most systems like it has a bunch of garbage thrown in to pad the pool and make items more rare like in Eureka and Bozja with their lootboxes

As for no loss scenarios, my mind goes to the Gold Saucer, where it's pretty much impossible to lose MGP. You'll always get something while putting in very little.

I've seen a lot of positive about Cosmic Exploration from people that are really into crafting / gathering because of the increased challenge. Outside of the rewards you listed, there's also the relics which you can get for every DoH/DoL job which will be a pretty big grind

I think the biggest failing so far is the advertisement that it would be similar to Island Sanctuary, which led people to have certain expectations for how the content was going to go.

Having done Ishgardian Restoration I already knew what was to be expected. I wasn't sure how they were going to merge the two and from what I've seen so far they really haven't.

I wouldn't mind a teleport ticket instead of those ugly sticker prisms as the "bad" prize.. At least cover some travelling fees.

Yes we are definitely in need of a Sinus Ardorum teleport ticket! I wish I had 50 of those instead of the 50 fireworks I have! lol
