For several years, I led a Free Company on the Goblin server, fostering a community of friends. During a temporary work assignment abroad, I entrusted leadership to an individual I had known for six years. Regrettably, this individual manipulated the FC's dynamics, resulting in a hostile environment. Upon being confronted, he resigned, forming a new FC with several members, accompanied by a disparaging public statement.
Subsequently, he initiated a campaign of harassment targeting remaining and new FC members, necessitating our collective migration to a new server. Despite multiple reports, blacklisting, and in-game mutes, this individual has persisted in his actions. He has located our new server, engaging in disruptive behavior such as leaving offensive housing messages, creating inflammatory Player Finder posts, and establishing a slanderous FC recruitment page using multiple alternate accounts, which are identifiable due to prior association.
This sustained harassment has created a severely distressing environment. We have documented and reported all incidents through official channels, both on the website and in-game. However, the harassment continues, with observed instances of this individual surveilling our housing areas. This has resulted in two FC members ceasing to participate in the game due to the emotional distress caused.
While the notion of 'living rent-free' in this individual's mind has been suggested, it provides no solace. We are deeply concerned about the ongoing nature of this harassment and its impact on our community's well-being and safety. We seek a resolution that will ensure the cessation of these disruptive and harmful actions, and yet nothing seems to be getting done.
I am open to any help or suggestions the community might have.

You seem to be doing all the right things up to this point. You have to give a person like that the attention they crave so that they realize it isn't what they really wanted. Just make a macro of them listing off all the creepy habits they exhibit when they show up. It takes their power away when you shine a flashlight directly on a person's personality trait disorders and call them out for it. They are an aberration, a ghost crying over something that was never real to begin with or they wouldn't be lashing out over it.

With the new changes to how blacklisting works, I believe you can now hide the person's characters on that service account and prohibit them from entering the FC house
If all of these is documented though, it should be easy and I'm not sure why the GMs aren't taking action against the behavior
Speaking from personal experience, I've always had a positive interaction with them and they've helped the issues I've had with other players
Beyond this, I'm not really sure what can be done besides ignoring the individual and continuing to report - though I know it might seem pointless to do so when it looks like your other efforts have failed. I'm sorry that you and your community has to deal with this -

1. There is a feature to blacklist people from housing estates themselves, from my understanding, as of 7.0.
2. GMs can produce an in-game restraining order. If broken, a more severe penalty is applied to the individual. Make sure to provide enough information to the GMs, including logs, locations/server, date/time/timezone of all the events, additional information like pictures. I believe they advise to keep a log of events.
3. You can hide information on the lodestone now, so if you move world and rename after 7.0 it should be harder for them to locate you, especially if you can make sure you're hidden on the log websites.
4. I can't see any slanderous FC recruitments for your world, at least in the Community Finder. -

To my understanding you can set up restrictions about who can enter your FC house proper be they friends or FC mates only and Blacklisting should make the person all together invisible to you.
If the individual is making multiple accounts to bypass reporting, then things become a bit more tricky. Normally speaking if everyone files a report simultaneously, it should be easy enough to flag a report that should get a response besides just one individual doing so.
I'd instruct your FC mates to pre-fill out the harassment report. Which looks like this. (But it seems you've already tried that)
So my best advice would be to coordinate a mass report - and hopefully that can get him banned in general.Quote:

If you actually want to get rid of him catch him in the act, If you're on AMD you can hit CTRL SHIFT E to record but otherwise get Streamlab "OBS" it's free, Then capture him.
Use Wondershare Filmora to edit, It's free and if you don't mind the watermark you can do some very easy editing.
Once you've captured multiple examples start pumping them in support tickets to Square Enix, Once a week until it is addressed, Keep making new tickets per week so it doesn't get buried, Though SE Support usually replies within 2 hours so you will probably only need the first ticket.
Put your video evidence, Upload it to YouTube if you can't send video to them it's free and gives you a link you can pass around just mark it as unlisted then only you and people you give link to can see it.
Don't egg him on, Don't engage with him, Just record him acting like a spazz and it'll be dealt with.
Though having said that, What exactly did you do that suddenly turned him against you? You're not one of those FC Leaders that only log in once a month to keep ownership are you? And have their guild shadow ran by people that can't even send out airships? -

Everyone in my current FC understands to steer clear, and to report his actions. He's doing all of this via an alt and his main so it's pretty wild. No I'm very active in game.
His main complaint is that I was stealing from the FC via the Submarines. I crafted them, I repaired them (all out of my own coffers), and I dumped any guild we made off of them into the FC chest. When I left for 6 months and came back they were the at the same level (meaning no one touched them or tried to level them). He then watches a video about all the money that can be made off of them and assumed that I was stealing. Mind you the FC chest keeps track of everything you put in there, and you can go check the venture logs to see what was brought back. Instead of asking me about it he hatches his plot and gets another FC officer involved. We have a chat about it on discord, the other officer reviews my evidence and agreed that nothing shady was going on. The next week he leaves with other members. Mind you the FC recruitment page I listed in the other reply is just made up of some pretty wild stuff. I just don't get why he picks now to do all of this. -

Unless you're manually repairing it with selfmade kits and with self harvested mats idk if it's even profitable aside from grabbing the ultra rare stuff like mounts or other registerables.Quote:

I just want to say I'm sorry to hear about this, I ended up moving from a DC to a smaller world because of similar problems along with a name change but I see you've already done this and it didn't help at all. It's a shame SE doesn't have many tools or GM to help with harassment in-game.
