Weather effects like this (patch 1.23a) in the games future

I'm currently loving the weather effect added in patch 1.23a. While I know this may be a small thing to many players, if more weather effects as wild and drastic as this are added, I think it would be a lovely addition for the games future. It obviously doesn't have to be every zone gets every effect hehe

I really just think this combination of meteorites + borealis is lovely. If in the future other varied weathers could be added and maybe even impact the zones they're in a little, it would be fantastic.

(with that said, I realise more important things are in the works, this just happened to be a nice little addition I want to compliment the team on, great work guys!)

Might I ask for a Screenshot? haven't came a crossed it yet o.o.

This does not bode well...

The whole "end of the world" feeling has an a impact for me. Sometimes I like to pretend that the invasion aren't Garlean and are actually extra-terrestrial. That and the addition of meteor showers and auroras, not to forget Dalamud either, considering the setting of FFXIV, gives me a sense of surrealism.

It's like, something out of a scifi movie, I don't know. All I'm saying is, everything from the environment to the weather, is just absolutely amazing in FFXIV and I hope to see more extreme and beautiful effects in the future.

I haven't been paying close attention, but weren't the Garlean airships just in Coerthas and Mor Dhona? They're near the cities now?

That is so Awesome ! Pre-Dalamud Warnings ? xD

EDIT: I just saw all of them during Day-time, Ships, Borealis/Aurora, and Shooting stars.

Yup. You can now see them flying over by the main cities.

Hopefully in 1.23b they'll play this in every zone, maybe have the sky turn red.

I've been crossing my fingers for that too. I'd love it to be weirdly dark with an eerie red glow as Dalamud blots out the sun. :D

Yep Alerith... this update is just the spiffy... just the awesome wicked spiffy.

Now we have our good ol' Legatus Gaius Van Baelsar (or could it be Darnus' VIIth Legion?) circling directly over Limsa (I haven't yet confirmed this over the other cities); and yep, the sound that those airships give off is still intimidating...
