New Monster Hunter collab

If you do a new Monster Hunter collab, could you do it with Arkveld as the new monster?
And give them Valigarmanda in return.

I don't think a collab with Monster Hunter would be a good idea right now. Messaging hasn't been short on "play other games" and it's already been quite effective.
Maybe something safer? Like perhaps Dauntless or Concorde?

Haven't played Monster Hunter Wilds yet, but it would be awesome to see another collab come to XIV. Maybe we could get some really good glamour from Wilds, too. The last collab's gear was pretty plain and ugly.

More importantly, such a crossover should, you know, feature actual Monster Hunter gear and not some trash "re-imagining".

Arkveld gear would be awesome!

Like the Conga, Lala Barina and Balahara gear sets too but they’d probably use one of the “big” monsters for a collab.

I'm not too familiar with monster hunter, it's something I'd like to get into though
I enjoyed the questline and fight with Rathalos so it'd be cool if they did another one

I think we would sooner see the crossover glamours being put into mogstation than any in-game events at all lol.

Looking how the game is actually turning into a shitstorm of dissappoitment right now, i'd rather not see that coming if they serve us this kind of quality content. It would be an insult to MH franchise...

Considering the MHWilds uhh.. setting/plot, giving them Allagan Bahamut kinda surprisingly works... We also still dont actually know how our pre Allag Bahamut looks like... As for what FFXIV would get, Id still love to see Pickle, if only to watch folks react to it hucking things at everyone...

I don't know about others but everyone I know that owns Monster Hunter Wilds barely logs in to FF, the last thing they want to do is get more interest in it.

There was art of the Firstbrood that came out in 3.0, so we know what he looked like from process of elimination. Ratatoskr's the only other one we don't have an official render of, but we still saw an artistic interpretation of her during a cutscene with Vrtra.

The glamour from the World collab wasn't from MH, it was the XIV armor designers trying to base a set on MH and failing.

I think it'd be cool if the Monster Hunter collab featured a quest where you go discuss something regarding a monster with 3 other NPCs, and then you can go collect your quest reward. That way it's easy and fair for everyone!

With how lazy the devs are they'll probably just give us Rathian and call it a day lmfao

They haven't even added a FF7 event to the game after a long long time. 3 minions from fan fest, cash shop bike, and contest winner hair style are all we've gotten. I'd rather they not do any more non-SE cross promos at this point.

Still wanting Rinoa’s outfit from 8, Rikku and Lulu’s from 10, Paine’s from 10-2 and Jill’s from 16, but I’ll take any collab glam I can get. lol

I'm fairly certain the reason for this is because the remake isn't complete yet
From what I recall Yoshi-p had addressed this, and said he'd love to have an event like that but wants to wait until it's done

So it's likely we won't see it for several years, if that
and that's if you believe it isn't just to keep people on the hook

They should do Guild Wars 2 x FFXIV, two gacha games on their way to the grave, which at one point received a lot of players for free and didn't act on it.

But nah, GW2 still has good gameplay so...

not exactly it was a comment from the developers of MH that they wanted to get bahamut as a monster next in a collab it wasn't about wilds specifically.

In the MHwilds survey there was like this question "Please select all the series or titles you have purchased.".
Which the choices ranged from monster hunter titles, then the Capcom games that were released within almost 10 years and then games from other companies which from SE there was only FFXIV and FFXVI.

I mean both games are facing the same criticism as the moment for "lack of content" so maybe it wouldn't be that bad of an idea. People could play ffxiv or mh wilds until they finish the content then go play the other game, by the time they finish hopefully more content is released in one of them.

If they decide to make another collab with Monster Hunter, instead of adding an additional monster to hunt, they should add Wuk Lamat as an NPC for you to speak to.

And after you speak to her three times in three seperate locations you walk with her back to camp, go out to hunt a monster, and she comes in to take the rest of the fight.

How about Devil May cry instead, Netflix series around the corner.

Capcom would probably happily take The Scions + Zodiark in exchange for Dante / Vergil / Trish / Lady / redhead from DMC2.
