7.16 Patch Changes - An Improvement?

Looking at the patch notes and having played a couple of FL games (which is all I can stomach on Shatter), the latest changes strike me as an improvement.

The mode does feel more responsive.

Anyone else have initial reactions? How has this impacted CC?

More responsive, but the core gameplay to me is still a fail.

An outfit that didn't clip through my mount now does. The breathing also kinda weirds me out I mean it will make those weird standing animation in stormblood cut-scenes.

I've only played my two mains in CC so far, MCH and DNC, and I didn't feel much difference, but it's possible some things have been shaved by a tiny margin and would need experimenting to compare timings with what they used to be. Spite may be a little faster but unsure.
Guard, Recuperate, Purify are still an absolute nightmare to trigger though and that's my main beef with the changes.

That's interesting, I felt I was escaping easier, but likely need more data.

I haven't noticed any difference with Purify/Recup/Guard. Still get stunlocked out of this world so purify is still pretty much worthless. Went on goose chase with BH V on my reaper with the entirety of flames chasing me down and survived so maybe there is just enough of a timing difference that I'm not getting screwed six ways to sunday. I notice some differences whilst I was playing reaper with ability timing being marginally more responsive, but ultimately after 6 matches of torturing myself with Shatter it's not really going to have any impact on Frontlines as a whole.

I don't like the WHM changes, I'm not sure what they were going for by turning Glare III into Glare IV. I feel like having Seraph Strike transform into Glare IV was fine. It gave you the option if you wanted to save them for someone else. At least I used it that way sometimes, it was rare but still came in handy when needed.

Add in the fact my muscle memory is hard coded for Seraph Strike -> Glare IV and I've found myself mashing a button that no longer does anything and I stand there like a goof doing nothing and either I die or a teammate dies because of it. At the very least I'd like to be able to put Glare IV onto the hot bar.

The damage matches the monk's animations which feels nice, Wind/Earth replies feel the same and I didn't notice anything with Rising Phoenix either. Can't backwards buff our Phantom Rush anymore it seems, but I'm okay with that. Briefly tried DRK and SGE as well today, their affected skills apply incredibly fast now. (excluding Psyche)

Need more time to try out the other classes and also adjust to the slightly different times.

Those 3 abilities have been incredibly unreliable for me as of this latest patch - purify being my worst offender, I don't know what they adjusted within them but now it feels unresponsive when I'm spamming purify to break out of a stun and I get stunned yet again for another 2s and my character still hasn't caught wind of the 300 purify inputs that I have previously sent.

Since it's only been today that I've really had it that bad I'm just hoping it was some absurd server latency or my internet dying specifically on FF and hope that kind of experience will be less frequent over the next few days.

They left GNB overpowered. Very good pvp game.

Using the free gametime we got recently I played few matches. A lot of the changed skills feel more responsive, like BRD's multishot now doesn't take 2 years to land for example.

Weird... The patch notes only mention Repelling and Nocturne for delay improvements?
