Just a random thought

Went on a Ceremony of Bonding today and randomly I had a brief thought...
What if it were possible to invite npcs to witness this event?
Just like... seeing some of your favourite characters be there in the cutscenes, being happy for your sake... It feels like it could be a really sweet thing.

i just wish we could marry NPCs, Yda will be mine one day no matter how long i must wait (yall can keep that creature known as lyse i want my Yda back)

Oh, I look forward to the (player fed) drama on that one... Lol. Have no desire to marry an NPC (and wouldn't mind if you could), but I would love to see a bioware, baldur's gate, (insert game with companion mechanics), system.



We had a companion in 1.0... that was cool, wish they hadn't drop that idea. My miqote had problems, but from the way they talked the miners guild wasn't one of them!

I also wish that was possible... Like anyone, I do have my fav... and yes... I do ship my main with an npc...
I blame my stubborn a** for trying to do every game solo because I have trust issues :D
(I'm also someone who has put too much lore on my characters (>x<))

I remember reading somewhere that the idea was thrown around a few times to allow players to get into relationships with some of the adult Scions, but eventually dropped because it would cause too many complications with future storywriting. So that'll have to stay in the realm of fanfic for now, alas.

I'd invite... the twins, my daughters (Ryne/Gaia), Thancredo, Feo'Ul... and I may sneak in an invite for Gaius and Allie. Oh, Surito and Setoto too.

I better stop before I end up inviting half the realm.

Saves universe and their lives countless times. Can't be bothered to show up at wedding. Please understand.

Only if Thancred can get bamboozled again by a bevy of luscious lasses, while Lyse cackles at him in the background.

If you know what I'm talking about, then your a cultured individual. ;3

Also, I'd love to invite Aenor, Clemence and the Boulder brothers to one just so I can hear the random perverted fantastises of Aenor surrounding her enamorment with the Boulder brothers while Clemence regrets leaving Ishgard to attend this wedding because of her embarrassing sister.

I'm sur that if you pay some extra money, this can happen

It would be nice to have the option. My alt could marry an NPC just for the wedding clothes/mount! My first choice would be Hien. lol

I'd marry my favorite NPCs except the game has killed every single one of them off without exception, because that's apparently my fate in this game.

So I write fanfic instead.

Seriously tho, the whole eternal bonding ceremony I don't think has even been touched once since it was introduced back in ARR. You can only play ARR music. There's only one venue. Only people from your same server, not DC, individual SERVER, can attend. There's a single dress and suit you can acquire, and you can't own both.

It's so insane that I can't go to my friend's weddings without making an alt on that server and getting it to level 15. That's insane.

Now seems like a perfect time then! They seem to not be doing anything that furthers the story of any scion anymore, not even outfit changes.
