Jandelaine’s Update: Hairstyle Merging

Been waiting for this creative option for a while. Everytime someone brings up the issue of enhancing the character creation menu, the arguement is alllllllways made that the current model can’t be reshaped, armor has to be remade, and 20 other excuses. Alright. Fine. But with all the hairstyles already made, set to fit, etc, would making an option, saaaaay, to simply merge 2, one on top of the other, cause the system to explode?

Yes, I know there would whiny little butts who will cry about their mmo reality being turned upside if so much as 1 strand of hair clipped, but, hair naturally does that anyway. If you feel it clips too much, just use another. More so, however, the potential to create a completely brand new combination by merging two would open up a significant amount of possibilities.

Thoughts?

My thought is that I wish people didn't title their suggestion threads as if it's a newly announced feature.

Also, you can suggest things without making it an attack on hypothetical people.

While you could make nice hairs the issue is the trolls. God knows what hideous combinations we'll be subjected to with this. TBH its bad enough we have people running around in speedos ruining the boss fight cutscenes.

God knows how long I wanted to combine the classic Mi'qote short hair with a long hairstyle. I'd say let's do it.

Been wanting this all the 5 years I've played. Should be able to add custom ponytail to any short style

If it worked the way you suggested, it would look terrible by nature.

I suggest that SE publishes some simplistic hairstyles with different bangs that match optional headgear which looks like hair extensions, such as Shishu-Gozen Kanzashi. Better texture though, because that one is a little too shiny.

we will get that the second they let us fuse races like a cat lalafell or a lizard lalafell/ half elfs you cant tell me it doesnt happan within the world consinder we got a half elf in hw

I would prefer they add the possibility to choose 2 haircuts, and switching from one to the other with one toggle button. That way you could save a long haircut and a short one, for glams that clip with hairs.
