DPS Queues

Nearly 1.5 Hours waiting for dungeon to pop 77: Mailkah's Well.

Is the game really 90% Queue Times / 10% Gameplay?

Without NPC's (Mostly against AI replacing humans)
The game needs to offer an equal Solo Leveling XP to Dungeons.

Or dramatically fix the way Healer's work so they have more incentives to play their job.

Try using party finder instead. A lot of the players looking to help others will look there instead of just queuing in. Just put "first clear" in the description, and it'll entice anyone who regularly does wondrous tails every week.

Not surprised that the "Make instances harder" crowd isn't resulting in shorter queue times, it's almost as if this was predicted, that hyperachievers would plow through content, get bored and having chased the unworthy away, are resorting to manual party finder when 20-60 minute queues become the norm, go play something else

An FC helps--our newer members ask for help queueing into dungeons, and there's almost always someone willing to lend them their tank or healer queue time.

Outside of that, though, I agree that it sucks that dungeons are the best way to level--I've been working on all 100 and the vast majority of my time is spent in queues.

Or... there's simply far more dps players than the other roles, resulting in increased dps queues? Not sure how this is a shocking revelation since dps players almost always have wait times. i.e. I had nonexistant wait times as a WHM in my early days in HW but had a 90 minute snowcloak queue as BLM.

Time of day in your Datacenter region? (Server Time) This really matters, especially when keeping in mind roulette resets.

Aside from that, it is highly encouraged to fill the gap with other activities, which can range from FATEs for combat exp, Gold Saucer activities (aside from instanced GATEs), working on Disciple of Hand & Land jobs, etc.

That or you find a healer/tank that helps you boost queues. Can be from your Free company or randoms you pick up with Party Finder for organized dungeon queueing.

If healing wasn’t more boring than watching paint dry we wouldn’t be so short on healers that DPS get long queue times

Overall I would like Battleleves reworked to be equal XP per hour to Dungeons, Make Allowances give Extra XP and Gil but after they've dried out you can still do them while waiting for Queues.

do FATEs, battleleves aren't coming back and FATEs are basically the same thing

I switched to playing healer in dungeons just for this reason.

Or this and this coming from a guy nicknamed relic hunter in the FC I'm in. Work on relics since most you can do in between ques. Except ShB relic. Only the 2nd step cam be done in between que times
